Great for adding more space to small sink
I have a small sink and got this add more space. This was super easy to assemble- the legs just insert right into the shelf. The shelf seems sturdy and it doesn't wobble. It is a nice bamboo color but I am going to try and stain it an espresso to match my cabinets. There is plenty of clearance underneath the shelf so that you can still use the sink space underneath the shelf. The only problem I have had with it is that it cuts the mirror viewing space down, so if you are trying to see how a shirt looks on, for example, you can't see it all. That is not a big deal, though- just something to keep in mind. Overall, I am so happy with this and very glad I bought it.

adds a lot of extra space to cramped quarters
I really like organization and really dislike clutter. Combine that with a small sink in what is called a "master bath" in my rental unit, and something needed to change. I found this happily and decided to give it a try. In an ideal world, I would have enough drawers and cabinets to keep most things but I don't at the present and this just seemed to triple my space. I can put out all the things I need to access daily - from makeup and brushes to perfume to face creams and soaps. It's not trashy looking and doesn't seem to overwhelm my otherwise small bathroom and sink area. It seems stable and I had no issues putting the legs into the holes underneath. There is a flat back so you can definitely tell there is a front and back to it. The wood coloring is nice and would probably fit most color schemes. Really with bamboo, you can't go wrong. My daughter, who initially said she wouldn't use anything like this, has seen mine and now wants one of her own. I'll wait until the price drops again because it was a good value for under $10 but for me, not as much over because then there are a lot to choose from. This may be made for a sink but really you could use it anywhere - on a desk, a counter-top to elevate spices and smaller items, a shelf to add a layer of storage . . .If you were very precise, I do think you could cut the legs to make it shorter. With strong glue, you could also probably stack a couple.Update: bought my daughter one and her normally messy sink looks 10 times better!

Handy-dandy and can hold weight by the lbs.
The Home Basics one is about 4 dollars less but since I'm here for a 2nd, for my 16 x 34" NYC kitchen, it's better that they match. I have one on the counter with canisters above and small appliances and gadgets below. That is in front of the window which has another queue of canisters. It hit me today that another of this shelf on the windowsill would give me a 4 step set-up--short tall short tall; it would also make it easier for me to open my push-out window without reaching over or through the fragile ceramics which will go on the very top. I'm excited about that. Woo hoo. It's okay-looking. The color is that of unstained pine. It's a practical solution to the problem of space. It's made primarily of 'sustainables' which are things the planet can bang out at negligible expense to itself. While it is finished with what looks like a matte acrylic, I'm not sure I'd want it sitting in a water for very long, but I didn't get it for the sink anyway. It's very strong. It comes with those bottom pieces separately. You need to bang/push the dowels into the pre-drilled holes. The dowels are center notched which allows them to spread a bit with humidity which makes the legs even securer. Anyway, I have a lot of weight of mine in heavy ceramics. I don't know why they show it with three jalapenos on it.I may wind up getting even more. So far I find Lipper and Home Basics wood stuff comparable quality-wise. I've gotten plate racks by both so I'm going to try the other brand, next one I get, if the price disparity continues.

Nice product that did what I needed it to do
I needed something to raise up my plants and clear up some space on my kitchen work table. I didn't use it above my kitchen faucet, so I don't know if it is easily water stained or not. This did the job admirably. It is the perfect height and width, and it was very easy to assemble. (You might want to be sure that you have a hammer and a wood block handy. You may have to hammer the legs in, as I had to.)It looks very nice in my kitchen, and it sure does clear up space.

Works well on my kitchen countertop
This shelf was very simple to assemble and holds a small laptop well with storage space underneath. I can watch videos on my laptop while cooking. It keeps my laptop safe from spills and the area underneath is well utilized to store items in my small kitchen. It’s doing the job I intended for it.

doubled in price
nice product at $14 but not worth the new price of $28. Waiting for the price to go back to what it was 4 days ago to buy another one.

Displaying my plants beautifully
Perfect for my plants above the sink. A little shorter in length would have been better but i love the way it shows off my plants

Over the sink shelf
Easy to assemble, wrapped, and packaged very well. No dents or anything. Only problem is that one side is wobbly. The pegs won't go any further and it's still wobbly. I put something heavy on top and this helps with the wobbling. I have a double sink and it fits across no problem but not long enough to sit on the counter. There's enough space for my faucet but just barely. I could see this being an issue with faucets that sit higher. So I recommend anyone ordering this to really double check the width of your sink(s) and height of faucet, before ordering. It looks nice, pretty much as shown on amazon. Has a nice smooth finish that will repel water. These types of shelves should be made adjustable for width and height, in order to accommodate various sink widths and faucet heights. This would be nice in a bathroom also for the vanity.
