Very pleased with the quality of this aquarium LED light. Ability to raise and lower the brightness of the various colors is a big plus. I found the video from Hygger to be quite helpful when explaining how to set the various settings afforded by this light. The various light colors provided are very vibrant and adds to the overall atmosphere created in my 30 gallon fish tank. I would definitely purchase another one if needed.

Such a great light with so many different options. Really blown away with it. Very easy to install. Price point is affordable, I got two for a bigger tank. Makes my fish look beautiful. Timer works great and all the light options are great.

the hygger aquarium led light works great it makes the fish tank look bright and colorful the 24 7 day night cycle is cool because it slowly changes from sunrise to sunset so the fish stay calm the light is easy to set up and the colors look natural it also remembers the settings after turning off which helps the tank stay on schedule the build feels strong and it fits nicely on most tanks overall this is a really good light for the price and makes the fish look amazing

I use the 24 mode and that works out great for me. It works good as long as you don’t have a high tech tank.

The light is great but you can't dim the 24/7 mode. The brightness is preset. Other than that it is a great light.

This light is perfect for my tank, and it really delivers on everything it promises. The 24/7 day-night cycle is a game changer—I love how it mimics a natural light cycle from sunrise to sunset. The blue light at night is especially cool, and my Glofish look amazing under it. It’s bright enough to show off the colors in the tank without being overpowering. The best part is that once I set the schedule, I haven’t had to mess with it at all—it’s truly a set-it-and-forget-it system, which is super convenient. Plus, my plants have been growing a lot better since I started using this light, so that’s a huge win. Well packed, and arrived quickly. The unit appears sturdy and well made. Controller and light work as described. Great value and was super easy to throw on my tank with the included feet.

When I received the item, I was quite excited, but immediately noticed, that it was not strong enough and it put out less lumen that other Hygger lights. I am a big fan of Hygger and I love they’d filters and heaters, but this light is just not good. What’s with the colors? I don’t want to turn my tank into a disco and any color setting of course looks quite unnatural and I find unpleasing. The little control is quite innovative and has many good functions, well thought out, but still, it controls a crappy light. I want to show natural color of my fish and need a fair amount of light for my plantings. It did not deliver that at all! I went back to my led 6500k stoplights and am more pleased with its result. I have a feeling that other Hygger led lights are much better, just stay away from this particular one. It has been praised by many so called experts on YouTube, don’t be fooled. You can see in those videos posted, how unnatural it looks. Maybe just my opinion, but don’t say I did not warn ya. After 3 months of having it on the aquarium( with almost never turning it on, it totally saturated inside with humidity, that should no be acceptable! I would double up and try a different Hygger model aquarium m light, just because I like Hygger so much. And I would be glad to report my findings to only single out this product, because usually Hygger is pretty good and also does not break the bank.

I bought this for a Fluval Roman 90 to replace the old tube bulbs, and it has worked out really well. The 20W unit gives plenty of light for the whole tank and has been strong enough to grow plants. If you wanted extra coverage at the front you could add one of the smaller sizes, but for most setups this single light is more than enough. The build quality is better than expected at this price. It even fell into the tank and stayed there for a couple of days before I noticed, and it still works perfectly. My only complaint is that the timer and day-night cycle controls are not intuitive at all and the instructions are not clear, but with a bit of patience you can figure it out. For the price, it is excellent value and performs far better than I expected.

After having a couple of previous models which were lacking and difficult to setup, I thought I would try this model and see how it compares. I can honestly say I am delighted with this model. For the price it is excellent for plants, reliable and easy to set up and adjust. The sunrise sunset feature is brilliant (no pun intended) with both sunrise and sunset lasting a couple of hours each end of the daylight section of the program. The start time is 10 am earliest but this can be adjusted by advancing the time slot forward in 2 hour slots. So if it’s 10 am and you select 12 am on the time setting, the program will begin at 8am. The length of day is also fully adjustable in 2 hour slots. The max light button is handy if you want to do some work in the aquarium outside of the program, press to get maximum full spectrum light, press again to return to your preset settings. Only downside I have found is if losing power the time setting defaults to 10 am but it’s easy to readjust to the time previously set. Your day length setting will not be lost. If you dont want sunrise sunset options there is also a button to select 6 ,10 or 12 hour timings and the intensity from 10 to 100% in 10% intervals. All in all a great light, excellent value for money.

Cannot fault this light. I upgraded from the standard light that came with my aquarium after struggling to grow and keep my live plants healthy. Massive improvement! It took a couple of goes to get the light programmed to how I wanted it, but I cannot fault this, and the price is great!
