Can't find words
I have loved this book! In the last book, she brings together people from other books. You must read the Cavendish and Walker series first. They are all great books. The way the characters get along is so funny. You won't know until the end how the crime(s) are solved. Can't put them down. Really a must-read. You will enjoy. On to the next Clifford book.

A gentleman can still be exciting.
Almost old fashioned yet in a modern way. I love the writing.

Best Seb book yet
I liked this book a lot, particularly now I am getting to know some of the key characters from previous stories. The interaction between them is as intriguing as the plot itself, which in this case involves two separate issues that gradually seem to be drawing together resulting in an unexpected discovery at the end. Recommended.

Entertaining and thoughtful reads for young adolescents
These are excellent books for young adolescents. They concern the adventures of an aristocratic detective and his working-class girl sidekick. He has special memory powers and a dog. The stories are straightforward and easy to follow. The main characters are homely and reassuring, and nothing awful happens. Yet, within this framework are discussed and illustrated simple moral dilemmas and common personal and social problems faced during early adolescence: adoption; who am I?: social and personal responsibility: the importance of being kind to others; difficulties with over-eating and time-keeping; jealousy; what it means to be someone’s friend; avoiding being selfish etc. Although there is some character development between books and ‘growing up’ through facing dilemmas and responsibilities, the characters (including the faithful dog) remain reassuringly the same between books, with the sort of simple outlines and consistency that children like.

Believe able Characters
Really enjoyed getting to know these characters. Set in an area I know made all the more believable. Will definitely look for follow on books.

Always love Ms Rigby's book and these are no exception! Full of twists and turns, with great imaginative storylines, I just loved this series. The characters are full of personality and it's refreshing to see them develop separately but together as each book gets written, not staying stagnant or boring. I'm looking forward to the next set of books in this series as I do every time I find a new series by Ms Rigby. if you enjoy well written, crime/police novels with good plots and interesting characters, these are perfect books for you to enjoy.

These three books together are a quick read. The characters and situations are believable and the storylines move along nicely. Lots of specific descriptions of UK included!

Each book of the 3was better than the one before. Thoroughly enjoyed the storyline and style. I'll be reading more of her Seb books!
