Best gel I have found
My hair is thick and on the coarse side. I need a good gel to hold the curl and this is the best I have found. It does dry into a cast and I crunch it out once compleetly dried. It isn't as soft feeling once crunched out as some other gels I have trie, but it does work better than all of the others,

Deva curl strong hold gel
Quite strong hold. Best to let my hair air dry a bit with the product & then gently dry with diffuser before gently breaking the crunch.

this (and related No-poo and Conditioners) is the only brand I find works to keep the frizz out of my curly hair.

itchy scalp
I was starting to enjoy this product after experimenting with different styling methods, as well as using more product. BUT I am now finding my scalp gets extremely itchy after using until next wash day. I don't think I'll be able to continue use. I generally don't have a sensitive scalp but it seems consistent every time I use this product.
