We've had a large metal and wood banana hangar taking up countertop space for years and this looked like a great option. It's perfect, allowing you to hang a bunch of bananas under the cupboard or cabinet and keeps your countertops clear for toasters, blenders, Minions, what have you. The only downside is, you can't hang a single banana, which we couldn't do with the old one either. Someone needs to invent a single banana holder, say, something like a banana hammock.....

It works.I wanted to get my bananas off my counter tops and purchased this and a flip down under cabinet one. I just didn't want a hook to always be dangling underneath the cabinet. Since the flip down one could be concealed and the banana bungee could be removed (aside from the eye screw, they both seemed like viable options. While the flip down one was less expensive, I realized it would probably break very easily over time. Also, I used 3mm stickies on it, but the ones I chose didn't really work and it didn't carry the weight of the bananas without ripping right off.To the thick of it! I was going to put it under my kitchen cabinet, but I realized I had wire shelving in my kitchen. It was really easy to hook, and as a bonus, I could move it aside or take it down if I didn't want to use it. The most importantly factor is that it worked as advertised! Yes, it can handle more than one bunch. Yes, it can hold a single banana! Yes, it can be moved! Yes, it is easy to use!It doesn't work the same as a banana hook, but the principal is the same. Slip a beaded bungee cord under a set of bananas and it holds the bunch. For a single banana, wrap one bungee around another and stick the banana stem there for holding. I really like the thoughtfulness that went into answered two problems: What to do with only one banana AND what to do with when you are running low on bananas and want to buy the next bunch of in advance.Here are the things to consider when getting this:1. If you want to hang it under a cabinet, you will need to make a pilot hole and then insert the eye screw.2. If you want to use it in your fridge, make sure there is something in there where you can hang the s-hook comfortably.FYI: When I purchased it, the eye screw was taped onto the insert. It took me a minute to figure that out. Note in the receipt helped me out.

Works as advertised. I can hang up to 8 bananas . I've tested it. Super strong. And you can hang it literally anywhere. The color is black.

Good gift

It’s perfect thing to easy store bananas from whole bunch to single one. After 1 week still yellow without brown marks on it. I like it very much. I chose the option without screwing to the furniture. Easy and smooth. This is the best option I found after long time trying many different things to keep bananas fresh as long as possible. It was not originally packed as it shows on advertising by inventor but still very good quality with all pieces needed for installation.

I was definitely skeptical about this and couldn't believe all the reviews but it worth the hype! It is also a really interesting kitchen gadget to have too.
