Great product for good value - thank you!
Really happy with this - it’s pretty easy to assemble, you just have to make sure you lay out all the pieces first, that makes it much easier as there’s no written instructions, only drawings. It comes with tools to screw everything in place and the instructions are straightforward. It arrived even faster than anticipated, packaged well. One piece wasn’t screwed on properly so I couldn’t adjust it and the seller immediately replaced it when I asked which was super efficient and really helpful. The seat and knee pads are comfortable, will probably need to be replaced within a year but I found a forum that shows you how to do it and it’s relatively cheap and easy to do - for this price it’s not a problem as I’ve seen similar ones for over £300! Definitely noticed a change in posture, agree with the comment on here that says it’s best not to try too hard to adjust your posture - lightly kneeling on the knee pad will do the trick without you even realising the change! Loving it so far - thank you.

Solid piece of furniture at a good price
The stool took about 30 minutes to put together without requiring much consultation of the instructions. For anyone used to assembling IKEA furniture it should be quite intuitive but in any case the instructions are just 3 diagrams so not very complicated. Now that it's up it looks quite attractive and is comfortable. Hopefully this will be better for my back posture than a normal office chair it is replacing.

Decent chair but hard to assemble!
Chair is great now I’ve put it together but as the other reviews say, the instructions are minimal at best! Chair is adjustable and comfortable and I can feel the benefits to my back already. For only £70 it’s the quality you’d expect but I’m generally really happy with it. One thing to note I’d seen in other reviews was the ‘design flaw’ of one of the bottom pieces (that the wheels screw into) being the wrong way up so your wheels face upwards. I did this when I first put the chair together and was furious, but then realised you have to unscrew that piece and turn it round, then you’re all good. Again, if instructions were clearer I’m sure people wouldn’t make that mistake - make sure you’re not in a rush when assembling it, that’s for sure! I’d still recommend this chair though overall.

Good value and works well
Mine fitted together very well, no problems at all. Unlike a few reviews here. Perhaps they've sorted the issue. Comfort not bad, though padding for the knees could be a bit better. I dare say it's as good as most of the competition, but I'll probably never know! Height adjustability is pretty good; better than I thought from what some people have said. I think it's a big enough range, since from highest to lowest feels like a significant difference to me, and I've found the best spot to be a point in between.

Cannot assemble
I spent half an hour trying to get the first screw in. The hole hasn't been drilled correctly. Not even after what looks like 3 attempts with the wrong sized drill. Returning for a refund.

Good chair, need a brain to put it together.
Great chair, instantly put me into a good posture and feels very natural. Assembly is a bit difficult for the not so technical people. From one of the other reviews it seems you also need a brain to assemble it, sadly. The review with the photos where the wheels are on the sides, not the floor. Is because they had the bottom cylinder the wrong way round. Common sense sadly did not prevail there. Surely you try it the other way? But no. One part (K, from memory) looks like a part, but it's actually a hex nut tighener with a hole for the screw driver to give you some leverage. Other than that. Very pleased.

A reasonable budget chair.
Firstly this is firmly in the budget range of chairs of this design and you need to set your expectations accordingly. THE GOOD Comfortable seat and knee rest. Good price. Not obvious from looking that it's a budget chair. THE BAD The instructions are not very friendly, the bolts and screws are very hard to tell apart. My tip is to separate all the screws out first and work out which ones correspond to their letter and number. The first diagram is wrong and show two holes on the wrong side, it works out exactly the same but I can understand why people started drilling. The instructions don't tell you that there are three tools in the pack, a socket screw tightener (that looks like a chair part), a spanner and a screw driver. Discovering the bolt tightener at the end was annoying. The height adjustment is very minimal, not like the deck chair system of more expensive models. The wood is very cheap, poorly glued and laminated, nothing structural but there is already some separation on some of the laminated wood. Overall I'm not sure I'll use it as my main chair and may look to get a better version of the Varier Balans but definitely as a spare chair for office guests it's fine.

After using for a month, I have updated my review
I bought this due to a herniated disc; I work in a music studio, minimum 8 hours a day, and my posture was a horrible hunch. Updating with new feedback after a few months use. For reference, I weight just under 84kg. While it felt sturdy on initial setup, it has become very wobbly. It is extremely unstable and I've almost fallen off it a couple of times while reaching for my coffee. I predict this will completely fall apart within a couple of months. It's not the worst product I've ever bought, but I cannot recommend this kneeling chair anymore. I would advise anyone reading this to spend a little extra, and check with the manufacturer as to what guarantees they offer. I am going to attempt to return it, though I'm not sure I can find the provided minitools to dissassemble it. Only minor complaint would be assembly instructions; mostly simple to follow, but very selective use of perspective meant I had to puzzle over some bits. FYI, piece K is a tool used to affix washers, not a part for assembly.
