Whilst I’ve had an angle grinder for 20 years, I’m new to welding and had been grinding using the cutting disc! - Am I alone on this? Then I found these - well whilst very sceptical - surely sanding discs are meant for wood - I thought I’d give them a go - well, they are just unbelievable, my world of steel has changed completely. I now have two angle grinders - one with the cutting discs and one set up with these flap discs.My bumpy welds are now sanded down so much easier and it also seems so much safer too.A terrific find.In terms of durability, they seem to last ages and like a cutting wheel, they get smaller with use, so easy to figure out when to change them.Since finding these I’ve now invested in different grit levels too, but for the initial removal job - these are the ones to go for.

They seem to be effective and last a reasonable time. I’d buy them again

I use a lot of disks for removing mill scale on fabrication projects. I tried these due to the review. I wasn’t impressed. Not saying they are bad for every application but for cleaning off mill scale I found they needed changing frequently with not much coverage.

These are some of the better flapper disc grinding pads for the money. They last, they dont explode if you catch the edge on something sharp. Compared to harbor freight, they are 10 times better value.

Did the job and more. Would recommend to any one needing to sand odd shapes and rusty metal.

Al héél wat stalen buizen schoongeschuurd om ze daarna te kunnen lakken maar de schuurschijven blijven langer schuren beter als die ik ervoor had van een ander merk. Ook een goede afwerking en ze slingeren niet.
