Good product. Works well

Great replacement for the malfunctioning five-year-old external Bluetooth linked Newentor thermometer/humidity on my indoor outdoor Weatherstation .. after being drenched in the rain and cold and heat the outdoor Bluetooth thermometer/barometer unit failed and could not be revived. I was pleased to be able to buy this replacement unit and found it directly linked up to my Weather station. (match the code 1,2 or 3 with switch on the unit and the weather station) . Back in business for a relatively small expense. Very satisfied.

I did get this to work as a replacement for a water logged original Q7 remote that died. Differences: -This one has the battery opening on the back, not the front like the original Q7 -It is lighter, and has a larger LCD -It does read 3degress F lower than the main Q7 unit when they are right next to each other, but the reading on this matched a second totally separate unit I have, so I think this one is right (original Q7 being in error) To get this to work, I had to remove the batteries from the Q7 main unit and disconnect power (A full power cycle). Then when it boots you have to press the button on this remote. For some reason, channel 1 on this would not work (which the original remote was set to), but channel 2 (out of 3 possible) worked just fine.

It was easy to pair with my older Newentor. I had to remove the batteries from the desktop station in order to pair, but once I did, piece of cake. Great replacement sensor! I did use some weather proof tape to go along the battery pack of the sensor, as I’m using it outside. I think the old sensor got moisture inside of it and stopped working. Just make sure it’s compatible with your weather station before you buy.

Our outdoor sensor went bad and Rachel with Newentor was prompt and helpful in getting it replaced and getting us a rebate on the cost. Love the indoor/outdoor weather station and impressed with Newentor's service!

So far I love the weather station, but must confess that the instruction booklet was somewhat confusing and took a while to figure everything out. Had to go to a Youtube presentation to finally figure out the instruction booklet. But apart from that everything else is excellent and the product is working as expected and hoped.
