The color variety is not so good. But very fun for kids and easy to use. The functionality beauty and quality is amazing. The quantity that has given it way more than I would ever need, making it an amazing value.

There is supposed to be 1400 total beads; the package only had 1,089 - nearly 1/3 missing (yes, I counted every bead). I contacted Amazon and was sent another package at no cost, and said to keep the first one also. The second package had about the same number as the first (although I didn't count every bead, I counted about 8 different letters and there was only about 32 of each instead of 50.) I am satisfied with the quality of the beads. The black paint on each was easily visible, and consistent darkness on each bead. Only noticed one that was either chipped or mis-molded. The beads were sorted perfectly into each of the sections of the box. Five stars if the original count had been correct; two if the missing beads had not been compensated for. Four stars instead of five, for having to spend time on an Amazon chat trying to correct the problem.

This box would be over $25 at the local craft store! The beads are the same quality. I prefer buying them as I need them in these smaller amounts/containers. It's a basic kit to replenish when you're running low on letters. The box is small and compact, too, so it can easily fit into a bag for crafts on the go.
