I was having problems with my bathroom skin getting clogged. I think it was mainly due to my hair which seems to turn into steel slivers when it is cut. At any rate, after using a hand snake and having to call a plumber a least once to clear out clogs, I figured I would get a drain strainer. It fits nicely into my bathroom sink drain, and catches all kind of stuff that I honestly don't know where it is coming from. It does a good job and is easy enough to clean. For whatever reason my bathtub drain doesn't get clogged (even though I shed like crazy) so I clean drain strainer out by flipping over and running water through it. I have to rub my fingers on the down side of it (side facing down in the drain) to clear some of the stuff that partially passes through. I probably clean it once a week or so.

Great quality little strainer basket. Fits well in my garage utility sink that has a small drain hole. Catches debris and doesn’t stop flow unless you clog it up and in that case it is working properly. Easy to install it just drops in. Stainless steel mesh should give it some longevity and rust resistance.

This was perfect for my daughter sink because I didn’t wanna have to replace the stopper at the bottom of the piece had broken off. So this was an easy substitute to use. water flows and drains easily and if anything happens to fall, the gasket catches it.

I bought these to keep a bathroom sink operational when the stopper system broke. Fixing the stopper is not a complicated or expensive operation, but so far I haven’t bothered. The strainer goes a long way toward keeping the gooseneck clear but should be cleaned frequently. It also looks a lot nicer than the open drain hole.

These drain strainers worked perfectly for my bathroom sinks. When the plunger no longer worked, these were my second choice until I could get a plumber to fix it. Nothing will fall in the drain with these in place. They are sturdy and stay in place. The water flow through them nicely. They catch hair so it will not clog the drain. Just take them out and put them over the hole in the sink. Ease of installation.

These fit my vanity sink perfectly. They drain well. The color may change after several months of use. If the water drains slow from it check to see if anything is clogging it. I do a daily check and a c weekly cleaning. Things are caught in it easily (hair, rings, debris from brushing teeth etc). It looks great in the sink. It's also cheap enough to replace. Shape stays consistent and sturdy. I have bought it for family members. Easy to clean. The color will darken over time so it's not rust resistance.
