Hotpoint C00145486 Genuine Original Ariston/Creda/Hotpoint/Indesit Main Oven Thermostat

Had never fitted one of these before. Just make sure you order the correct thermostat and you're good to go. If in doubt take a few minutes to remove the old thermostat from your oven first to confirm it's the correct one before ordering - nothing lost as your oven can't be used anyway until you get the new one - only a day or two to wait. Most ovens have the model serial number on the side inside the door so you can confirm. Entire job from start to finish took maybe 20 minutes. There are loads of YouTube videos out there showing you what to do. This was my starting point. We assumed initially the oven was dead, but this new thermostat for only a few quid saved the day and hundreds on a new oven. Only tool I needed was a Phillips screwdriver. Absolute bargain.

The thermostat when in my Indesit cooker jA few weeks before I was having a new kitchen with built in cooker fitted so didn’t want to spend much. The thermostat arrived quickly works well and I can now pass cooker on to friends daughter who is buying her first house

Our Indecit oven constantly burnt everything, so this was a last ditch effort before having to buy a new oven. It worked perfectly and the oven is now performing as it used to.

This just about fits but the cable has to be taught and will probably fail sooner as a result, this item is for the top oven and not the main oven.
