I’ve been using Gentleman’s Face Club shaving cream and shaving brush since not long after starting to shave with a double edge safety razor. I’m loving the shaving cream (started with the peppermint one) and decided to try the shaving balm too. So far I find it really great. It is quite luscious and moisturising. It is also quite refreshing with a gentle pleasant tingle. I love the smell. It is rich and unobtrusive but with a very subtle aroma for every day use. I found this to be an excellent product far more effective than my normal much more expensive gel I loved the smell and the ease of application but for me it was the results that truly impressed me it left my skin incredible smooth and free of irritation a quite remarkable achievement I would recommend this balm to any one with a sensitive skin in particular but also being part of a normal shaving regimen!

A cross between after shave and a moisturizer, it is astringent with a pleasant scent that is strong at first but quickly fades. It is quite runny so care is needed when opening a full tub.

Where to start? When you first open the after shave balm you may think it's a bit thin, but dont be deceived just a tiny bit of it goes a long way. It might nip a bit to start but I've used it 4 times now on a freshly shaved head and it gets easier, it also has a great cooling effect for when you're skin is tender. Lovely scent to it, not pungent just a subtle aroma but you get a whiff of it all through the day. Probably one of the easiest lids to use while you have slippery hands too, better thought-out than most product packaging. All in all a good product, I will buy again but not sure when I'll need to as it goes pretty far and it's a big tub.

I like this company and use the shave cream. That is why I tried the shave balm. It has a nice smell. It is a very runny gel that is why I say the packaging is bad. It should be a pump or tube. I opened the lid and last half the tub on the floor. I would be happy to buy it again but only if it was in a pump dispenser. Like the product.
