I used it for a children's carnival that we were putting on. It was pretty amazing and lasted all day without smearing up! I'd definitively buy again & have already suggested it to others.

Definitely not a professional kit but still super fun! Looks just as pictured and everything came with the kit that you are in the pictures. Love all the colors, could be used for many different events. Using the stencils are a bit tricky but maybe with enough practice they could look good. Otherwise I just use the paints as is.

I ordered this Bowitzki Professional Face Painting Kit because of the many different blended color cakes. This last year I learned how to make some amazing face painting such as rainbow unicorns, batman etc, and those call for these multi colored cakes. This new set makes the patterns and affects I can do even more varied. This kit also comes with stencils, paint brushes, and sponges to apply the paints. A really great kit for those doing face painting parties and other events.

My kids love playing with this, the color payoff is perfect, self drying, last a long time, easy to remove with soap and water.

I was going to give this one star after my daughter and I tried doing it in many different ways. The best we could do was a smudge of watered-down color that bleeds underneath the stencil no matter what. My wife, who is fairly artsy, was able to make it work a bit. It is not intuitive at all, and the instructions amount to about five lines of text printed on the box. It says to mix the paint with a little water, which doesn't make sense to me since you cannot actually extract the paint. It is more like old-fashioned watercolors where you have to mix a little water into it directly, but it's not bowl shaped at all. Also, most of them have multiple colors in one. The ad would have you believe that you can make amazing rainbow effects with them, but it's not true. They immediately bleed together and turn into whatever color the combination of colors makes. With the right amount of skill, patience, a very low use of water, and careful repeated application with the smallest paintbrush, my wife was able to make it work fairly well. The attached pics show my best attempt, followed by her attempt. It can be done, but not by me.

I got this to have a little fun with my daughter and nephew. I am not a professional face paint artist, but this is a great kit to have to use with your kids or to have at their birthday parties. He comes with all the little things that you would need and everybody absolutely loves it.
