doesnt cut hair! (I tried)
before I gave these to my toddler I experimented with cutting many things with them to make sure they really were safe, I tried cutting my finger, I tried cutting my hair, I tried gluing my hair to paper and letting it dry /then/ cutting my hair. It did not cut anything but paper. they do better with construction paper than printer paper. they are good first scissors.

Perfect Starter Scissors for Toddlers
These are great little scissors for introducing toddlers to cutting activities. Theyโre lightweight, safe, and easy for small hands to hold. I love that the blades are blunt and designed to only cut paper โ no worries about hair, clothes, or fingers. My toddler picked them up quickly and can practice cutting without getting frustrated. They glide well on construction paper and are perfect for preschool crafts and fine motor skill development. The 3-pack is a huge bonus because we can keep one in our art bin, one in the diaper bag, and one as backup. Highly recommend these for any parent looking for safe, reliable beginner scissors!

No children were harmed!
These are the perfect size for my 4 year olds hands and allows him to safely create. I can feel pretty confident that he wont be able to hurt himself with these especially after looking away for two seconds only to find him hanging a set from his tongue. Not even that managed to hurt him! But they do cut paper pretty well. He's also used them on play dough, chives, and thicker construction paper as well. Also, they are super lightweight, so much so that I almost gave them a 4-star review because they don't feel high quality by any means but i changed my mind because they are not at all flimsy and they do cut things that aren't children lol

Not sharp and perfect for toddlers learning how to use scissors
Decent for toddlers, They don't cut that well but they do work on most paper and are a great way to get toddlers and up to learn to use scissors. Kids are very unlikely to get hurt with these. Great for craft projects.

Highly recommended for toddlers
Love these for teaching a toddler to cut. They are easy for the child to use and hold. The size is perfect for the little hands and are a cute design. They are actually sharp enough to cut paper well but the plastic design makes it impossible to cut the child.

Perfect for toddlers just learning
These scissors are great for a toddler just learning how to cut. They are light weight and easy to hold for my daughter. there is also no way for them to cut themselves, there is no blade just plastic, not sharp but I was able to cut through cardboard.

Great for Little Hands, But Cutting Could Be Easier
These Crayola toddler safety scissors are perfect for my kids' little hands! Theyโre lightweight, easy to grip, and my children felt so much independence and confidence while doing their crafts. Itโs a great tool for helping them practice fine motor skills in a safe way. That said, I do wish they could cut paper a bit more easily. Even I struggled to get a clean cut at times, especially with thicker or textured paper. Theyโre great for safety, but could use a slight improvement in cutting performance. Still, a fun and confidence-building tool for little crafters!

Crayola is classic for a reason
These scissors were easy for my toddler to use. Some plastic scissors are not so sharp or close too loosely, but these cut nice and sharp and precise. They're a little longer than what I expected but since my toddler had no issue with it I guess they are not too long. The finger holes are a good size and a kid can open and close them by themself without it being so loose that it just falls open. Great product!

I'm so glad that I bought these for my toddler, it took him about a week to understand how to use them, but ever since then, he's been so excited to cut any and all the papers that are available to him LOL. A great skill to build dexterity, especially before going to preschool.

These are made of plastic and very safe for toddlers to handle them because the edge is not sharp. They do cut paper - one requires a little bit of force to cut through (thicker) A4 printer paper. They will probably cut thin paper very easily.
