Turns out exactly how I wanted. Brilliant finish
Finished off my wheel hub cover project with this alloy paint. Even though it’s described as an alloy paint, it popped well on my plastic cover. Top it off with satin lacquer from Halfords and super satisfied with the result. I’m confident it’ll hold up well, but we’ll see.

Good stuff
Second hand set of alloys with good tyres brought for my car, thought I'd spray them up for a fresh look, used the primer of the same company, Very good stuff, nice end result

The colour you’re after
The media could not be loaded. Most cars won’t have the colour code for the alloys, or impossible to find. This matched mine exactly, only thing to add you still need lacquer for a good finish.

Apply with care, needs to be lacquered to bring out the darker colour. Expensive for what it is.
If your covering the same colour then fine as long as you sand down with 800 grit or similar first, but if your covering a lighter colour then use a dark primer like Halfords matt black. The paint really does need a couple of coats of lacquer to finish it and that also makes it look darker. Be very very careful applying lacquer, do very fine coats, even after 24 hrs the colour will run and spoil the finish. Leaving the first full coat of lacquer overnight is best as then the colour is sealed in and there is little chance of it running. This paint does not appear to be anything special, and calling it an alloy wheel paint does not make it any different to most acrylic car paints and that makes it expensive for what it is.

Vey good paint
Generally easy to apply with good result.I have used 3 cans to finish whole set of 17" alloys. You would need good primer.Hopefully it will last as its cheap refI am happy with result.

Nice paint job.
This spray can paint does the job, it covers well, the colour matches my original plastic coverings on my Honda motorcycle and the spray nozzle didn't spit or clog. With all spray jobs the key is in the preparation. Make sure that the area is clean, smooth and free of grease and oil. I applied 2 coats and finished off with a good 2 coats of a Matt clear lacquer that I already had (Halfords). I will continue to use this paint on other parts and components.
