Good coffee flavor, but not as robust as some may prefer.
UCC Unsweetened Black Coffee is a great Japanese import. The flavor is pretty good, if a bit light for some dark roast drinkers. The case was mishandled during shipping, so my first can was dented and slightly leaky. None of the others seem to have the same issue, so I don't think it's a manufacturing issue. The coffee, itself, is good chilled or you can put it in a ceramic cup and heat it in the microwave for a hot brew that is still better than that provided by most pod coffee makers. The coffee also lends itself to being used as an ingredient in recipes that call for brewed coffee or can be added to hot cocoa to make a mocha beverage.If you are coffee fan and like the idea of an on the go coffee option that you can grab as you run out the door, then UCC Unsweetened Black Coffee is for you. . . Provided you like your coffee black. This brew is unsweetened and has no creamer added. The ingredient statement is "Water, Coffee".Happy sipping!

Risky business
Luckily, all of them were not opened, but every single can was severely dented. They arrived in an original thin cardboard box. Even the product is great, whoever handling is not. Please send them with air bubbles cushions in a larger box.

bold and dark
The coffee is dark and bold, which I like a lot, and it tastes as good as I expected. It doesn’t have that cheap and stale coffee taste as some canned coffees do. I only see water and coffee listed as ingredients, and there are no preservatives, so I don’t know how the coffee can last long on the shelf without preservatives.As for the size, it is not grande or venti, but it’s perfect for a single serve as a grab-and-go, and it’s really convenient when I am in a hurry. I just wish it were a little bigger. Overall, I liked and enjoyed this canned coffee from Japan, but I do think the price is a bit high for what it is.
