We ship from Florida and yes there should be no problems other than the usual stress from shipping, some discoloration or melting but this is normal this time of the year.

Q: All the tips are turning brown about an inch and a half to 2-inch down pH is 7.2 how long will it take to show some growth

Could be forever. None of mine survived.
