Well, it appears I have not reviewed this product in the four years that I've used it, but not having done so will make it so much better. As I said, I purchased these cartridges four years almost to the day after reading the reviews of a few different brands, finally choosing this one. After 13 cartridge replacements, I still have one each of the photo and the high yield black carts left. Now granted, I don't print so much as I used to. The kids have moved on and I don't like cutting trees down, unless it's with my Husky! I have never had a problem with cartridge recognition, ink leakage (except for once which was my fault) or ink clogging and the inks seemed to last as long as my original Canon cartridges! I would certainly recommend them to anyone who needs them for their compatible Canon printer (mine's a PIXMA MX922), so much so that my reason for noticing I hadn't reviewed them is that I am reordering them now, four years later! The reason you're even reading this review is because of the price. So I'll cut to the case and give you some practical advice that I hope will make this ink worth the buy.I'm a heavy color ink user so I've noticed that this replacement ink is not as vivid as the OEM ink but the difference is not enough to make me pass. Now for the big issue- Leaking!After opening my first package and having black ink splatter on my hands, desk, and printer I thought I would be more careful. Package #2 had pretty much the same result except in Magenta. Package #3 was yellow and I managed to only cover the tip of one finger leaving me to wonder if this is what my hands would look like if I were fingerprinted at a gay pride parade. The good news I had still had several unstained fingers and a good grasp on what I was doing wrong. Now unless you enjoy looking like you just voted in an Iraqi election here are a couple of tips to keep your tips ink-free. 1.) Before removing the hard plastic cover from the ink container, put a napkin below it. 2.) hold the ink face down, the same direction as it goes into the printer and hold it toward the back, not the front. There will most likely be some ink puddled so keep your fingers away from the opening. 3.) After removing the plastic cover make sure you touch the opening to the napkin. It will absorb the ink and you'll have ink-free hands.Yes, these little buggers may leak and that's why I'm giving them only 4 stars but I'm good with a little ink on my fingers if I can save 60% over the Canon ink.

I had the option of buying a new Canon printer minus the ink for a cheaper price so I took that option and purchased this ink to go with it because it was an excellent price. 3 rounds of ink for the price of 1 round of Canon ink. Overall, I am happy with this ink and will continue to buy this product when I run out...which will be quite a while from now!Pros:-very inexpensive-great color ink-easy to use-customer service is very helpful if there's a problemCons:-leaky...when opening the plastic enclosing the ink be careful of ink splatter. While you are removing the tab covering the ink hole, immediately replace the tab with a paper towel and keep upright. I wasn't prepared for it to leak and ended up with magenta hands, desk, and floor (washed off easy from non-porous surfaces though)-printer doesn't always recognize "non-Canon" ink...on my first attempt of loading the inks, my printer did not recognize the smaller black ink and would not allow the printer to print unless I replaced the ink. Thankfully this package comes with 3 small blacks so I had extra. I contacted the seller about my issue and was immediately sent out a replacement for free without having to return my defective one

For the most part, these ink cartridges work great, though I did have two yellows in a row that would not reliably be recognized by my printer... the LED would light up when first inserted, but if I wiggled it a bit, the LED would flicker off and on, apparently indicating a poor connection to the chip on the cartridge. Even if the LED was lit when I closed the printer's lid, it would make some noises and try to print, but then beep again saying that the cartridge could not be recognized (though if I tried several times, I could eventually get it to print, but the next time I'd try to print, I'd receive the same error and have to repeat the process).Replacing it with another new cartridge yielded the same problem, and when I tried swapping cartridges with the one currently installed in my other identical printer, the problem followed the cartridge (so, in other words, it wasn't the printer). Installing a third new cartridge did the trick, so I guess I just got a couple of bad yellows.That said, I'm happy with these cartridges, and for the price they cannot be beat... I will continue to order them.

I used to refill my cartridges. That was a laborious chore that always made a mess and didn't seem to be worth the effort. This pack is an economical solution to both buying retail ink for a million bucks per cartridge or skimping and refilling your own. My printer (Canon) runs this ink without issue and I can't see a difference in the print quality from this to any other brand. I will be ordering more.Update 24/3/2017 I'm back again ordering more. I've not seen the leaking issue like some people are reporting. I still have several cartridges from my last order in my desk laying on their side in the bags without any evidence of a leak. Still recommended.Update 8/4/2017 I received the last order in 2-day-prime shipping as expected, but unfortunately I did have a few packs that included some leaking cartridges because they were not properly snapped into the holders. This caused the plastic bags to be partially filled with ink, which of course means the cartridges are partially not-filled with ink. They are still usable, but messy. I'm changing my overall review to 4 stars.
