Converted this coffee addict
This tea successfully replaced my 1-2 pot a day coffee habit. The bergamot is perfectly balanced - not too floral, not too subtle. Smooth and flavorful enough that I don't miss coffee at all. A bit of agave is nice, but isn't needed. Very earthy, bright and delicious on it's own!Numi's quality is consistent and the organic aspect is a nice bonus. This has become my daily go-to and I buy it in bulk now. If you're trying to switch from coffee to tea, this is the one that'll actually stick.

Delicious
This is my favorite flavor and brand of hot tea. I sometimes use the bags, but the loose leaf option is marvelous for one of my preferred teapots at home. This is a strong tea with high caffeine, but it is not bitter at all. I drink it both with and without a bit of sugar and love it equally both ways. I occasionally drink it over ice and enjoy that flavor just as much.

Very good commercial grade, especially after a year
This tea has a low oxidation and low/medium roast. The thing about roasting is that the tea continues to change for about a year. This tea is not bad before then, but after a year it has really opened up into something very nice, with high florals and a nectar sweet taste, an oily-smooth texture, and fairly well-rounded body. The roast is well done and compliments the natural tea and gives a little definition to the florals (making it smell like flowers up close, instead of the vague smell of flowers from far away)Before the roast settles, in that year leading up to it, it won't be as balanced but you'll still notice that it's sweet and floral. It's still better than other commercial teas in the US.The fact that it improves over a year is a good reason to buy a big bag. If you want to maximize the experience, try leaving the leaf that you intend to use out in the open for a few days (not all of it; just what you plan to use) and use good, boiling hot water (it can take it).

Numi vs Davidson's Earl Grey
Tea is very good but expensive. Davidson's is half the price for the same amount and is very good. Numi has stronger bold flavor and is aged. Davidson's is softer tasting and more elegant and complex flavor.

One of the best rooibos chai teas out there-and I've tried a lot of them!
I don't know if I want to leave a positive review here because this item is often out of stock. The more people who know about it's great, rich flavor without caffeine, the more people will buy it.There are *no* "natural" or "artificial flavorings," a rarity that is tough to find combined with the flavor. The quality of the tea is stellar, where you can see (and understand) each ingredient. I love seeing it in the glass jar I store it in since it is beautiful to look at. I use this nearly every morning combined with honey, some unsweetened cacao, and a splash of oat milk to make my mornings comfy and inviting. Super love it.

Oolong & Earl Grey -YES! Rooibos Chai - NO!
Amazon won’t let me leave separate reviews. The Oolong tea is AMAZING! But the rooibos chai was terrible. No discernible pieces of anything other than the peppercorn and clove. Tastes like sawdust. Worst chai I’ve ever had. But get the Oolong and Aged Earl Grey!

Trust this wonderful Pu-erh
With tea, you have to be careful with quality and honesty. Ever since tea became popular in the west, the market has been flooded with tea that is laced with pesticides and other pollutants. Just do an internet search for "Pesticides in tea" and you'll find the reports and studies. It's sad, but growers and tea merchants are reacting to market demand and pushing massive quantities of tea onto the market as quickly and cheaply as possible. This is particularly true of pu-erh, which has become trendy in the last 10-15 years. So, know your tea merchant and be careful. Just because someone says that their pu-erh is organic, fair-trade, old-growth, etc., doesn't mean that it's true. Investigate the tea merchant carefully. Otherwise, you could end up drinking a cup of pesticide. And, worse, sharing a cup of pesticide with your friends and family.Numi is a quality company; it's the only large-scale tea merchant that I trust. I buy all my other teas from non-profit organizations and people dedicated to tea culture. But Numi is special. I even buy their tea bags to keep at the office. This tea is quite lovely. It's a shou pu-erh, which is the darker, heavier type of pu-erh. It has a beautiful black liquor and smooth taste. I rinse, brew for 30 seconds, then flash-flash-flash brew for the next 3 cups, then one last steeping of 3 minutes to extract the final flavor. Like all pu-erhs, it has a healthy dose of caffeine.I don't add anything to the tea, but you certainly can. I know purists will recoil in horror, but - go ahead. Add your sweetener, milk, almond milk, whatever. Spread the love. Share the tea.
