I found that this basic yet functional mini drill is nicely designed and constructed. The motor and chuck spin without any noticeable vibrations. The guide shafts look like good quality metal and seem precise enough for hobby work. I also like being able to select the speed at the power supply. Here are some of my issues with it.I removed the allen head screw from the sliding stop and replaced it with a knurled knob. I think the manufacturer should have done that because it's something you would adjust often.Mine did not come with the base alignment post as shown in their videos (they call it a "stick"), but I don't see why it was even necessary, which is perhaps why they eliminated it. One complaint is that the included drill bits were scattered in their plastic box and when I rearranged them found some sizes were missing and some duplicated. Someone in the factory must have had a similar problem and apparently filled it with the correct number of bits but mistakenly duplicated some of them. It's a bit (no pun intended) disappointing because the smaller sizes are missing.The RPM table they provide does not match mine at all:12V - 147015V - 183016V - 195018V - 216019V - 231020V - 243024V - 3000

I was very worried that this would be a waste of money because a lot of machines from China are machined terribly, use cheap parts on areas of strain, missing parts, ect.Boy was I wrong! This thing is awesome! I’ve already used it with diamond cutting and grinding bits for my lapidary work, carved a graphite mold for my metal melting hobby, and used it to drill holes in a wooden bit holder I made. It’s easy to use, has plenty of torque and great adjustable speed, easy to adjust ect. It came totally put together aside from the clamp on the bottom. Very highly satisfied! Runs super duper quiet. Buy it!

This is great drill for craft. Few things to know before you buy. There is no assembling instruction, but it is not complicated. Look at my photos and you can figure it out. Also, some of the edge it sharp - be careful not to cut your finger. I realized the ruler is detachable and the reverse side has metric (mm) measures. Size is nice and small and the sound is not loud. Overall, I am satisfied with this product.

It's a very nice little drill press! I am amazed at how well machined the parts are! I have only used it to test everything but the small bit I used for testing ran stable and drilled 10 or so perfect holes. It's small, very precision tool for small projects only. I have a large Rikon for heavy work. The Rikon is great but could never compete with this little press for these small jobs. One of the best Amazon purchases I have every made! I've made a LOT!!

This is one of the best tools I've bought. I make earrings and I literally use this multiple times a day on a daily basis and it never fails. It is also very quiet. Highly recommend.

This drill press is awesome for small crafts, precise, exact drilling.Just what we needed.

This is a similar experience to another recent Amazon order from China, virtually no Documentation on how to put this Drill Press together! I will return it as soon ASAP.

An interesting little mini drill press. Not crazy about the speed control being on the AC adapter. I also don't care for the fact that half the motor housing is kinda thin plastic. I have a quality, vintage jewelers/watchmakers mini drill press that is about twice as tall with a motor 2-3 times more powerful, but table rises up to the drill instead of the drill lowering to the table. This one is easier to use and good enough for most things I need to use a small drill press. I don't care for the drill press vice included. Cheaply made and a bit large for this press. That's fine as I already had a better vice.
