ZY374 Fully Assembled Gunite Shoes with 1" Blunt Spikes for Epoxy Floor Coating, Overlays, Cover Installation and Self-Leveling

I wear size 14 shoes so the front of my shoes hung over the end but I was still stable. I only needed them for one basement leveling job.

Spikes were a bit bigger than I expected. However being that the actual product is universal as far as shoe sizes I was surprised to find it did not swallow my feet nor did it make it difficult to use being that I have small feet. Wearing a men’s 7. They are built a lot sturdier than I expected and I liked that I got to install and put them together myself making it simple and easy to use. Absolutely self explanatory. Great value for your money as these run $20 and up at your local home stores IF YOU CAN FIND THEM. I was worried with the spikes being a bit bigger than I expected that it would effect the functionality and possible puncture the floor or leave holes in the epoxy but it did not! They helped get the job done and made it a lot easier for me as I was able to access the places I had already laid the epoxy.

In anticipation of staining the concrete basement floor, we got this Zimpty 2 pack of assembled gunite spiked shoes and we're pleased with them as they have a lot of advantages. They're are already assembled with the 1.18 inch spikes in place. The shoes have a blunt-tip back plate that ensures your feet don't slide off the back, while the adjustable snap-lock buckle system straps keep them firmly in place.The polypropylene sole plates are plenty big at 11.8 by 5.1 inches. The shoes were easy to strap on, and my sneakers fit on them with room to spare. We're glad they have the blunt tipped spikes. To try them out I walked around the basement and felt comfortable moving in them. They were stable with each step and I felt firmly planted on the floor. You have to be very careful when using these they are not very secure on your shoes and can easily cause you to sprain an ankle or fall. I found that the straps were too short to fit over my larger shoes and too loose on others. I was able to complete my project, but had several mishaps with these. I would opt for a better quality fitting setup in the future.

Doing a larger self leveling job, these made the difference between back injury and balance mistakes and not. Took a moment to figure out the heel strap. After that, one person could focus on moving material while another focused on the mix. An essential part of a really time sensitive effort.

These never stayed on, no matter how tight I made the straps and what shoes I wore with them. They fell off repeatedly while I was working, causing a tripping hazard more than once. The top strap at the toes needs to be moved about an inch and a half lower for them to work safely for people with smaller feet. I wear a women’s 8.5 for reference. I returned them.
