I wanted it for a latern, although it does not fit in what I bought it for I was absolutely not returning it! It is so cute, give my space a nice glow without using a candle or my fire place. This would be a great gift for kids, and it holds a charge for a very long time. Could be used as a nightlight. Very cute.

The media could not be loaded. * Update a week later: I turned it on at night, used it on our back patio for a little for firelight (heavy winds outdoors did not make for ideal conditions for a fire or for pit burn this evening). I was watching this light and it just did not resonate, I just didn’t like it. The flicker didn’t mimic a fire flame, and that hard rubber look I just could not get past. I have decided to return it- but it deserves 4 stars for doing what it says it does. I do see this flame great for Halloween decor or goth home decor element, so this light will appeal to others, don’t get me wrong!Not crazy about that hard rubber material of the light ( I was looking for more of an opaque hard plastic or glass but it’s not a deal breaker).I do like the flicker flame rather than the solid light, easy to use (one button press), and it looks really neat in the night time darkness. I will be using it for outdoor patio space that is empty- surrounding it in decorative rock and additional tea light candles. Perfect for any table top centerpiece, patio table, stairway accent piece, or even for additional holiday decor features. It arrives fully charged (at least this one did). I have not had to charge it yet but I believe I may have had it on for a total of about 2 hours so far. It’s lightweight so you can pack it for your camping or rv trip plus is safe around all ages as this flame won’t burn anyone.Overall, not a bad faux fire.

Cute little flame light! We use it for our Cub Scouts display table, our s’mores setup, and just for fun. There are flame options and a solid option. So adorable for a camping themed party, too!

The stand is lovely, Presenting & the flame itself has a thick rubber like plastic, so it's very strong and sturdy and won't break on the first drop. The flame modes look really good, real, & authentic. The lights are nice and bright enough to see from afar. Has some decent illumination when you rely on just one. Awesome thing is it's completely rechargeable. Lasts over 10 hours of flicker time and if yougo to family Dollar. $5 solar lanterns with the plastic chain and these flames will fit perfectly inside one giving more authentic realism. Very happy to purchase these to go with my medieval Renaissance Fair theme happening in October S+

This flame is pretty cool. It is chargeable, which is nice and does have a setting for off light and then flame. It’s not as big as I thought it would be so that’s why I only gave it three stars for the price and the size, but it is pretty neat how it works.
