It's a replacement battery
This battery seems to hold a charge and work well. It's definitely an improvement over my old battery that had a max charge of 50% design-capacity. I updated to this battery around the same time that I switched to a new charger, and I do seem to experience some problems with the charging starting and stopping on occasion. Not sure if that's caused by the battery or the charger. Occasionally this battery reports that it's got a max charge of 130% design-capacity, but eventually it gets back down to 100% where it should be. Not sure if that's being reported correctly. I've had the computer shutdown unexpectedly when the battery was still reporting 20% remaining-charge (of whatever max charge capacity). Anyway, good luck to you. Oh, the tools that came with the battery were nice. The battery had sticker pads on it that you absolutely shouldn't remove because then it would be stuck to the inside of your computer.

Poor battery life
Bought because of good reviews, however after install the battery only worked as expected for two full cycles (for me that's about a week). Now it full charges, discharges to about 50% then dumps power to 7% instantly. Not an anomoly as it continues to do this after some intervention. Clearly too late to return. I will be looking at other sellers and hopefully I can find a US made battery.Update: Beware of quality and customer service from this provider. I told both Amazon and FancyBuying about this issue and have heard nothing from them to address it. FancyBuying's Customer Service phone# is disconnected and they have not replied to my email after a month of waiting; so I can only assume that it doesn't work either. Guess I get to eat the $ on this one.
