Better than a gimmick!
We kept a 30 inch level in a drawer at the studio for those rare occasions when one was needed. It was awkward in the drawer even though it could fit front to back. I saw this and thought "there's a gimmick" but I also thought, if it was at least solid it would work and get that long one out of the drawer. I was impressed with how solid/rigid this is when unfolded. Obviously you wouldn't use this for serious construction projects, but for quick around the office or home projects it's really handy, and easy to put away where it's easy to grab without trekking down to the basement or garage to fetch the full size unit. the pivots aren't "sloppy". There's some resistance as you unfold so it stays put. I set it flat on the table and press the joints down flat so I know it's flat. You need to be careful it you want to use it as a straight edge - that's certainly not it's forte, but you can do it! It's great as a level when hanging pictures or, as we do in our old building with uneven floors - we need to shim desk legs to get them level and this is handy. It's an inexpensive, super handy tool to have around that doesn't take up a lot of room. Might make a nifty Christmas or Dad's day present too!

Decent Sectional Level
Pros:FoldableSectionalEasy To ReadUseable In Various AnglesCompactPortableAnti-ScratchRust ResistantDurableCons:Not As Accurate As A Solid Frame LevelScaling OffWhat I received in the package:1 x KESHOYAL LevelThis KESHOYAL Level product is a 5-section level. It has 4 horizontal bubbles. The level offers the following level bubbles angles:45 Degree90 Degree180 DegreeThe level is foldable and can be used at various angles at once depending on your structure. The mid points between sections is magnetic. Which is handle for metal studs and frames but not so useful for most carpentry lines. When folded the level is roughly 6 1/3” x 4”. When extended it has 29” of scaling but is about 2” longer than the scaling. It is made of lightweight Aluminum. For non critical measuring and level .. this does fine. But for accurate level across a span that is greater than one section … I would recommend sticking to your solid frame level. Solid frame is more accurate over distance. This may not be as necessary for the average home owner and for basic leveling needs should be sufficient. The scaling I found to be off and on. But when off is off by 1/16 - 1/8”. The first section of scaling is good but the two middle sections are off and then it goes back to on point for the last section. It’s not critical for most but is something to consider.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, for the $20 dollar asking price at the time of this review. I would consider this relatively functional and accurate for the average user. It is easy to use and maneuver, especially for metal structures. It is durable and should service you well for some time. But for precision work … this is a no-go. Hope this information was helpful. [3 Stars]

Good quality, sturdy, levels work well, folds easily, good size and measurement markings.
•Overall Impression:-This is a very nice, high quality, sturdy folding level with measurement markings.-It folds to a compact size and is a good length when unfolded.-You can use it extended or folded at the segments for corners or angles.-It's versatile, well made and functions well as a level and for measuring.• Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-Compact, portable, easy to store size when folded. It folds down to 6.3 inches in length when fully folded.-Long size when unfolded, extended to full length. The full length is 29 inches.-Easy to fold and unfold.-Bubble levels on 4 of 5 segments.-Center magnet on the center segment.-Has measuring lines that are well marked, clear and easy to read.-Can be used in several ways, extended, folded, semi folded. It works well for corners and angles.-Sturdy, well made with a nice finish.-Made of an aluminum alloy.-Has no unpleasant scent to it.• Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well:-No issues.• Tips & Thoughts:-This works well folded or unfolded in full or in segments, or at an angle.

mostly good
I like a lot about this level. The only reason I do not usually keep a long level in my tool kit is space. This certainly fixes that problem. It sits in the corner of a box until needed and offers me a pretty decently long 29 inches of us. I was surprised to put it against a 4 foot box level ad find it is indeed quite flat, so the machining tolerances are good. The only downside in this regard is an inevitable one. If you want to say draw long straight lint there are gaps which your pencil will slip into at joints. For my use case that does not matter, but yours might. The Neat thing about this though is drawing a line around a corner. I usually will break out a laser level for this, but if its hanging 2 pictures close to each other or something like that and keeping that lien then this does that job well.As to the level functions, having multiple planes to work with is nice, as is the 2 horizontal ones being on the end to make sure those corner lines are both level. It will be odd though when using the whole length against a wall and needing to look at the ends for this. it would have been nice to see a third horizontal level bar in the center rather than the logo.If you are buying this for the ability to use this on magnetic surfaces, get something else. These magnets are not powerful enough to hold itself up. Tried on a workbench leg, and a refrigerator and it just slid down under its own weight. For most handyman types this will probably be a good addition to the kit if you do not keep a full length 36 inch box level in your general tool kit. If you can afford something better then probably get that, but for a budget piece that will come in handy this does seem worth buying.
