Really great and reliable and inexpensive upgrade to your train enthusiasts toddlers! Someone would not stop this train from going around and around all day long lol!

My toddler loves this train. Runs well on his wooded track. When you push the button on the top to get it to move you can choose forward or backward, both ways play sound to start off the movement. I was also impressed to see that the magnetic connectors were compatible with the wooden train car magnetic connectors. The engine is very powerful and was able to pull multiple wooded train cars in addition to the ones included in this set. PROS: - Battery operated - Can operate forward or backward - Train sounds play when you push the forward or backward buttons on the engine car - Very powerful motor that can pull more than the included cars but also wooden cars from another set (even up hills) - Will continue to move forward or backward until you push the button again on the top of the engine car/ SUGGESTION: - Not really a con but rather a suggestion: Would be nice if the sound was able to play for more than a few seconds after buttons were pushed while the train was still moving

This is the first battery operated train I've ever gotten. I accidentally bought a track set that was just an expansion set and had to quickly find a train to go with it. I'm glad I purchased this train and 2 cabooses. It's very cute and the controls are super easy for my 3 year old to understand. She understood them instantly with just a single display of how they worked. I don't feel like the price was bad, after comparing to other similar products. The reason for taking away one star is simply because the compartments for the little people don't stay shut well at all, so every time the trains are moved by hand, or if they derail, the people come tumbling out. My child seems to like putting them back in, while I find it tedious and annoying. It's not my toy, so I really shouldn't complain. The trains seem sturdy enough to handle some rough play, and they fit the wooden tracks I bought on a whim perfectly. We haven't used the stickers, yet, so I can't speak to that.

Bought for neighbor and my grandson! Both 4 yr olds love this little train!

One of the best toys I have seen, my son (3 yo) loves it, it moves forward and backwards, pretty nice esthetically speaking, can pull other magnetic trains from other sets, and can stay in standard train tracks. I bought two, it was just so good.

My son loves this! So glad I got it for him. He loves the little people that come with it and that he can take them out and put them back in.

When all three are connected, it can fall on tight turns. When two are connected they're typically fine. But this can be confusing to a toddler. The functionality and battery life and looks are great.
