Excellent design and quality
I've just bought a new touring hybrid which came with a rack, however it was badly bent out of shape during transit. Luckily the bike all appears fine, but I needed a new rack. This model is wider to allow for the wider stays on bikes with disc brakes, also for a modest cost of just over £20 is very well made, I particularly like the bars to the seat stays which blend in nicely with the rack. On my bike there is a gap across the stays of 7.5 inches (to the outside threaded fixings), the rack is about 8 inches and has enough 'give' to fix in without the supplied spacers. The rack does require fixing points to be part of your frame (same style as bottle mountings). The reason I give this 5 stars is that it came very well packed in paper wrap and then inside a sturdy cardboard box. The rack is very well made and the deciding feature is the double bar design, this means I can attach my panniers to the lower bar and have room to fix a rack bag on top. The standard single design ones often make that more difficult to do. The light on the rack was not included, but I bought this on Amazon too.

Fits 27.5+ Tyres
Super light and strongCame with all the parts needed and fitted to my Trek Roscoe 8 ‘19 which because of the 27.5+ tyres and frame geometry is amazing. The pannier isn’t 100% horizontal, but on this frame I don’t think it would be possible to do that. All the bolts came with lock tight for extra security and to stop them vibrating out on a long journey and look like they are galvanised. At first I wished they where black but often these rust straight away because fitting always causes paint chips and then the water gets in so these are probably a better long term solution. The clearance on the tyre is less than 10mm on my bike and that’s on full extension, I guess that would be the same for any 27.5+ tyre or 29er as they are the same diameter. Fortunately the rack is so sturdy even fully loaded over bumpy terrain I don’t think it will be catching the tyreFitting is tricky but you would expect that for any universal pannier rack, you have to work out what’s best for the frame and this often takes trial and error.

Robust, good looking, and functional
I have been using this rear rack on my disc brakes equipped bicycle for about a year now. The Ibera IB-RA5 is solid and well made, including the bolts that connect it to the frame (I know other customers had had issues with those): I can lift the bicycle, no less than 15 kilograms accessories included, holding it by the handlebar and the rack. Installing and removing it was also straightforward, which is convenient when adding or changing a rear light or reflector. It even has a line of bags designed for use with it. For me, definitely a good buy.

Decent rack, especially for the price
After some fiddling, I got it installed easily enough. It fits my Carerra Subway 1 perfectly (with disk brakes). I didn't have to bend anything into place.I later purchased a pair of Crivit pannier bags from Lidl for about €15 (for the pair). These clip on to the side easily enough and then I can further secure them with their velcro straps. The one thing I would say is that the bolts that stick out of the bottom, adjustable bar dig in to my bags as I'm cycling and has worn a hole in them. I recommend either replacing the bolts with something that doesn't stick out like that, or cover them with something, even duck tape would probably sort it out. It's only if your pannier bag extends down as far as those bolts of course. The one thing I wish it had was a spring mount for easily holding a small box etc without the need for bungee cords. It just means I always need to keep bungee cords attached and there are certain circumstances where a spring mount would be better.

Good alternative for full suspension bikes.
I used this for a battery rack on a cheap full suspension mountain bike with an electric hub motor conversion, had to make a small bracket for the rack's seat post fixing to be mounted on the lower swing-arm of the rear fork (as the seat post and rear fork move relative to each other under load), but is all fitted and works perfectly. Rock solid and does the job very well. I can still use the rack to mount panniers so I can now carry stuff around easily. The 13Ah Lithium battery is bolted to the top and the rack does not move or wobble even when riding off road. It is a good sturdy frame and I'm very happy with it.Finding a rack to fit some cheaper full suspension bikes can be tricky, but this can be adapted quite well without modifying the rack in any way.

Super once it's on.
I wanted this rack so I could put some double panniers on the back of my bike. It's very well made and very light. It looks strong enough to take most knocks it might receive during it's life. You'll need some practical skills to put in on and may need to shorten a couple of the bars as I did to fit it properly, depending on the bike. A hacksaw did the job in less than 5 minutes and the frame fitted perfectly afterwards. It certainly looks the part once fitted and feels very sturdy. I would certainly recommend this item to anyone wishing to add carrying abilities to their bicycle but be prepared to spend half hour or so fitting it on, depending on your skills.
