In fact, it is made with microfiber, which is a non-woven fabric usually made from polyester or nylon. The microfiber fabric is coated with a layer of polyurethane, which gives it a leather-like appearance and texture. Amazon could ask its suppliers to clearly state if the items offered are made with cowhide leather or a synthetic man made material such as microfiber.
