Tubifast Tubular Blue Line Bandage, Large

This Tubifast Blue Line Tubular bandage is very soft, stretchy and is wrapped around the dressing very neatly and comfortable. It can be laundered and reused.

My husband has gone allergic to the elastic in the tops of his work socks. So we bought this to cut lengths for his legs to put a barrier between his legs and the work socks. It works.

I does what it says on the box.

Just what I needed

A great product for people who have delicate skin which is easily damaged. It gives you a gentle stretch over the skin enabling you to support any damage you may encounter. Ideal if you cannot use sticking plasters.

As I have a latex allergy and damages skin it is essential that I have a stocking to anchor the main absorbent pads in place. Though I can get these on NHS prescription, I need a back up to cover for mistakes by me or others over bank holidays or trips away.

Superior to Comfi fast tubular bandage which looks the same but is an inferior product without the stretch of Tubifast. Pay no attention to review left by Annah. It needs to be cut longer and shrinks when worn in.

J'ai acheté le tubifast ligne bleu. je m'en sers comme bandage sur une plaie chronique en haut du bras, pour tenir la compresse. Ca tient parfaitement, et sans trop serrer non plus. Bon après, je suis d'une corpulence assez forte. Pour les personnes avec des bras plus fins que moi, je ne sais pas si la couleur bleu est la taille adapté pour les bras, peut-être demander avant en pharmacie la couleur de ligne qui vous convient. C'est beaucoup plus pratique qu'une bande standard qu'on doit enrouler autour du bras par exemple et fixer avec une attache. Au moins, là on a pas besoin de mettre une attache ou du sparadrap pour tenir la bande. Je coupe la longueur que je veux, et j'ai juste à enfiler la bande dans mon bras (vu que c'est élastique, pas de souci pour rentrer la main dedans).. C'est aussi plus économique (avec 10 mètres, on a de quoi faire pas mal de bandages). J'aurais pu utiliser les filets à la place qui sont beaucoup moins cher, mais impossible, je suis allergique. Tubifast est un des rares bandages que je supporte.

Prescribed by doctor for my elderly father who was suffering from severe sores on his legs because of lack of movement. They were so much better than the ace bandages originally used by the nursing home staff. These do not dig in to the skin caused edema above and/or below the edge
