Sounds Amazing
The car i had it installed on is a 2015 VW Passat 1.8t TSI. I was running straight pipe from the CAT/downpipe back for a while. Had rasp in high RPMs and was loud all the time. This resonator (called a muffler in the title but it's actually a resonator) was recommended to me by a specialist at MagnaFlow. It removed 100% of the rasp just as he said it would, it did quite down the exhaust significantly while driving around town and during cold starts however it screams at WOT but with ZERO rasp. 100% satisfied with the sound (deep not ricey) and with the quality of the resonator. So glad I added this and wish i had done it sooner. Great job MagnaFlow!!

Great product! = Crappy sound
Running this on a 2013 Firat Abarth with Race downpipe.Stock system has ZERO mufflers/resonators.After the Race Downpipe from Italy the car was OBNOIXIOUSLY LOUD with a terriblerasp from 3500-4200rpm.Installed this in the midpipe and now the car is "TOO QUIET!"The muffler took all the soul out of the vehicle sound.Lost all the pops, crackles, and sweet turbo Jet engine whistle the car had. :(Now its just a generic dull muffled deep sound.terribly dissapointed.Other applications this might work out. but not for me,I heard "the Price is right" loosing horns when i started the car up after installing..made great though!

Good quality, works pretty well
After some upstream exhaust mods my 07 TL-S developed some rasp from 3-4k rpm. I added this muffler/resonator and the rasp has almost completely disappeared. It's just barely noticeable with the radio off. Well worth the money to have my Acura not sound like a high school kids riced out Civic.

Straight through free flow design that works!
I when I first purchase my MX-5 (miata) I had the OEM resonator removed to give the exhaust system a little more character which would have been fine if the rest of the exhaust system remained stock. However after installing a header that deleted the OEM primary catalytic converter (off road use only) the whole exhaust system got a lot louder and had an unappealing raspy note to it…which is not the what I enjoy. So I ordered this unit and had it installed in the location of the OEM resonator that I had previously removed. While it did reduce the volume of the exhaust marginally, more importantly it removed the rasp and gave the system a nice low burble…which was my goal!

Sounds Great!
I deleted the mid muffler in my 2018 Durango SRT and installed 2 of these (one on each pipe). Should have gotten the 2 1/2" ID model but was able to make this work. The MagnaFlows amplify the distinct low tone rumble of the 392. I haven't noticed any drone at any speeds. Although, it is definitely a little louder inside the cabin but not so loud that I can't carry a conversation with my wife or daughter in the backseat.Cold starts sound the best!

Perfect Fix For G6 Resonator Problem
I never post comments but I have to on this one. For the last year my 2007 G6 Covertible was making a horrible squealing sound every time the car was between 2,000 and 3,000 rpms. I thought it was the belts but it wasn't. One shop said it probably had something to do with the muffler or exhaust system but I wasn't going to pay to replace the entire system. A couple weeks ago I saw the comments for the Manaflow 10424. I purchased it and a local muffler shop installed it in place of the resonator for $75. It fixed the problem -- no more squealing sound.

Fixes Pontiac G6 "Whistle"
My 2007 G6 HTC developed a high pitched whistle on acceleration at around 37,000 miles (sounded like a weed eater). It was suggested on the G6 forums to replace the resonator with this product so I gave it a try. Purchased it on Amazon and had a local muffler place put it on for $60. It works perfectly... noise gone! A message pops up on Amazon that says it does not fit a 2007 G6 but it fit mine so don't be afraid to purchase it!

Pontiac 2007 HT convertible G6
Like so many other G6 owners my car also developed a high pitch squeal upon acceleration. I was wary about spending the $76 for the muffler and then the cost of installation $125 for a solution that may not even work. But oh how good it felt to drive off from the mechanic with a car that for once in a long time did not make me feel like I was driving a clunker! hahahaIn short if your Pontiac G6 has the squeal, this will most likely do the trick!
