I'd never realised you could get consumer units for Tesla coils - I remember seeing the larger ones used in science classes at high school so I was excited, but slightly scared, to try this one at home. The instructions leave a lot to be desired, not much in the way of useful information to help you understand how to use it. I took to YouTube for help. Once you realise it's pretty straightforward to control, the fun begins. The unit is quite noisy but the sparks are amazing and it's weirdly cool seeing the lightning arc to your hand and fingers in the dark. It comes with some little led bulbs that you can light up as if by magic. A great way to safely play around with electricity.

Was working for 30-40 minutes then stopped. Power supply flashing so I thought I unplug for half of hour. Still doesn’t work.

This was a present for grandson. He thought it was great. I thought it odd that he didn't have an on off switch. He didn't mind that & was very impressed. I'm not sure if he has tried the music but the Tesla coil was very good 👍

My son absolutely loved this … The only thing he wanted for Christmas! It stopped working on Christmas day! Hoping it was a faulty one and going to try again

I checked the reviews and others in the uk got a regular uk plug but I got a European one, I now have to order an adapter to use it

Interesting toy but adults only due to Tesla coil
