Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow The Deluxe Edition

This edition honestly surprised me in the best way. Even as someone who isn’t a huge comics collector, I opened the package and just went “wow". It’s a sturdy hardcover that collects all the issues into one book, plus a bunch of extras (alternative covers, sketches, a draft script for one of the chapters). Makes you appreciate how much work went into it. And the print quality is what really blew me away. The colors are so vibrant, and the artwork looks incredible on the thick high-quality paper. Some (even most) pages are frame-worthy. It’s also just a really nice object to hold. It's solid and well-made, like something you’d take off a shelf to look through many times rather than read once and forget. As for the content itself, the story is compelling and surprisingly relevant, and the art style is absolutely gorgeous throughout. It works both as a great read and as an art book. If you only care about the story, a digital or paperback version would probably be enough (that’s how I first read it). But if you want something that feels substantial, this deluxe edition is totally worth the price. It would make a really great gift.

I bought a couple copies of this book for myself and some others for Christmas because personally I hadn’t read any Supergirl comics and the movie based on this series is coming out in 2026. Me and my friends were quite surprised with how good this book was so, I will definitely be reading more Supergirl books. It had a great story with beautiful art. I would 100% recommend this graphic novel to any fan of DC comics and if you want to be caught up before watching the Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow movie.

Create comic, definitely worth reading and has great illustrations.

This is very well written and gorgeously executed. Thoughtful storytelling that still has adventurous spirit. Makes me want to see upcoming Supergirl movie.

This is a fun story, very emotional and interesting. Each page is an artwork. This will be a storybook that I will read over and over I’m sure. It seems like there’s a lot of information in each page as well as the drawings

High and unreasonably pricing!!

I expected nothing less from a writer as good as Tom King. As far as revenge stories go, this is up there. It redefines Supergirl as a three-dimensional character for a new generation, and it's recommended reading going into next year's Supergirl movie (and just a rec in general; it really is a great book). As for the deluxe edition, it's a solid hardcover with no misprints or defects. It makes for a fine collector's item.

I love this book! I really do! I have lots of books and they're all typical books, but this book is really special. Like all books this book is similar because it has a front and back cover and some number of pages inside, but it's the stuff inside and on the pages that make this book so much better than most other books. If you like books and know your way around books you'll understand what I'm talking about, but you have to buy this book to do that. This is a book you should buy if you like some books more than other books and want a very special book in your collection. Even if you don't have a collection of books, you should at least have this book so you know you have one of the best books ever. Incidentally, I heard they're making a movie of this book. If they do, that will be a movie and not a book. You should get this book so you have the book version of the movie, because you just know when the movie becomes huge everyone will want the book. BOOK!
