Sturdy construction and Florida Legal
It was really hard to find a Florida legal blue crab trap on Amazon. Very sturdy and easy to operate, perfect size for me. It said Maryland but it came exactly as I needed for Florida regulation. This will be fantastic to drop in while I fish with my ambush nets or while i fish for sheepshead. And, it came early...Super happy

High quality construction
Works as described. Smaller fish get in but can also get out. Crab can’t get out. Only thing is i had to put my bait in a homemade net bag inside of the bait compartment bc a critter was eating all my bait and not getting trapped. The bait compartment could be redesigned to prevent this. The octopus can get in and out no problem.

A Budget-friendly Catching Marvel
I recently purchased the inexpensive crab trap for my crabbing expedition, and boy, was I blown away by its performance! This little gem of a crab trap has exceeded all my expectations and delivered outstanding results at an incredibly affordable price.First and foremost, let’s talk about the cost. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced this crab trap was compared to other options on the market. It didn’t break the bank, which was a big win for me. But don’t let the low price fool you; this trap means serious business! Now, let’s get to the most important aspect - its catching ability. And boy, did this trap deliver! During my trip, it attracted an impressive number of crabs, making it a feast to remember. I caught more crabs than I ever thought possible, and it definitely made the experience unforgettable.

Good trap, little small.
Little on the pricey side.

8’ Moray Eel couldn’t destroy in 4 hours!
Must be tended otherwise crabs will escape. Harness would be a better choice, retaining trap by one point isn’t good, but float and line are functional. Use float to lift harness away from trap per your need. Perhaps cut in half if it causes trap to move, but better to keep harness clear of trap. Spent 3 weeks underwater and only has minor marine growth, and didn’t remove coating after drying. Caught 8’ moray eel 3 times till I finally relocated, a testimony to its durability!
