It’s ok but forgettable
1993 comedy staring Tom Selleck as an aging baseball player, who is traded to Japan. This film is very of its time, which shows in the numerous stereotypes it portrays. Also, as a ‘comedy’ it’s not actually that funny. It is not a bad film and some of the actual baseball playing scenes are well established, however, it is very 1993 and of its time.

It's good fun
I like baseball movies, so I like this one. A nice, gentle and humorous look at a clash of cultures but with a common theme.

A classic movie for a good evening of entertainment. The plot are good and the with the clashing of cultures in a good sense of humour, it comes out well. They have to bring more of these movies on DVD.

A good film but can your blu ray player read the disc.
A very good film but be aware that some players cannot read the disc, I can ony watch this film using my PS3.
