It is nice and loud when whistles, elder so I tend to be doing other task and it let's me know when hot. The pit is just the right size not big and taking up the stove top. Light to carry and pours out without the steam burning your hand. In all great tea pot!

Nice little tea kettle for the price. It is a light stainless steel and smaller than a conventional tea kettle, but it does the job and has a nice whistle.

IT DOESN’T whistle. Steam just comes out the sides. I was specifically looking for a kettle that whistled and I’m so disappointed. It’s beautiful though. I gave it 3 stars because they described it as whistling but it doesn’t. If I was looking for a cute kettle, I would have gave it 5 stars.

I have arthritic hands, the lid was almost impossible to close tightly. When I boiled water in it and started to pour it out, the lid dislodged and steam escaped onto my hand. I have cooked for years so my hands are used to heat, while it was very hot, I did not get burned, but I am sure that if it had no been my granddaughter using this, it would have burned her! After it cooled down and I pored the water out, I had to really push hard to get the lid on tight.As one other reviewer mentioned, it is also impossible to get all the water out of the kettle, there is about a tablespoon remaining in it. If did not think that would bother me, but the lid being so difficult for me to close, is enough to make me return this item. I will not use this again.

I love this teakettle! It looks nice, is not difficult to clean, and is just the right size.

Nice size kettle for my needs

I bought this kettle when the old one wore out because the handle got too hot on our gas stove. The handle on this one is up higher and it doesn’t get so hot. It is also very nice looking.Water heats quickly, and it is easy to clean when the need arises.
