Working for my Kitten
I got a rescued kitten in October. I also work a few days a week and don't feel he's old enough to be left by himself for 8-10 hours. He also sleeps in it at night for the same reason... not old enough to wander around unattended.Within a day he had figured out the zippers. The fix for me was a small swivel hook, but small carabiner clip might work. The carabiner I had was too large and he was able to escape through even that small opening, thus the small swivel hook..Most times he goes right in when we get to the opening, not happy about it, but he does. A few times in the beginning I admit to having pushed him in and dodging those flailing claws to get him zipped up, but those times are long gone now. I guess it's a matter of... look Mister, I don't think you realize this but I'm the boss and this is YOUR room. lol Of course that was before I realized HE is the BOSS of the house...Within the first few days of having it, he jumped on it and of course it collapsed. You can't have a fold up device if it won't collapse. Did it scare him, lol , yes..... did it keep him from coming back to jump on it again, and again and again, NO. He finally learned his 'bedroom' was NOT a perch to jump on.I never thought about putting a litter box in it, but he's only 6 months old and I shouldn't have expected he could do a 9-10 hour stay and then turn around a few hours later and do an over night stay in it with perfection.... so yes, we had a little accident. The mat did not absorb all of the accident, which is how I discovered we had a little issue. Urine soaked through the bottom of the kennel. I'll have to figure a way to clean that up and find him a small litter box because it's not his fault he couldn't wait any longer, it's mommy's for expecting too much from a little 6 month old baby.I've read the mat can be washed, so I'm glad to know that. I also read a comment about someone using baking soda to clean the main fabric. Hoping that will work. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind buying a second one and start out with a litter box inside it, but we'll see if we can clean this one up first.I sometimes call him the Demon kitty because he's all teeth and claws on my arms. lol . As far as durability, it's held up to the demon kitty and the clasps I put on the zipper pulls have contained him, so I have no complaints and would probably invest in another should I need it. I even recommended to another new kitty owner.I haven't had to travel any distance with him, so can't speak for the travel useage, but see that others have. The only trips we've made have been to the vet less than 5 miles away and I got a small carrier for that. He travels well in the carrier and I suspect he would do well in his Bedroom (kennel). He even goes in now and plays a little bit from time to time I think for my purposes, it has been a good investment.

Great for keeping my pet safe(with supervision)
I got this for my dog for after her surgery. She had surgery on her leg and has to stay off it for 6 weeks except for leash walking. I needed something to keep her in and still be with us. This fits nicely on the couch and I really like that it has the front big zipper opening. It makes it easier to take her in and out without hurting her. Also it has a cover if I needed to shade her. It's just soft on the bottom so she has the couch under her and the mesh is easy for her to see through. It's roomy enough for her to be able to move around a little but still be confined. She is a 17lb Westie.I would caution people though to not think this can be used without supervision. I'm sure she could claw/chew her way out of this, but since we are only using it when we are home and right there she does not challenge it. If we have to go out she goes in a standard metal crate.

Big enough for 2 adult cats.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for a cross-country road trip with my 2 adult cats based on the other reviews. It seems pretty big enough for them and fits easily in the back seat of my Subaru. They have enjoyed spending time in it and napping as well.

Amazing for road trip with cats!
I have traveled cross country with my cats in the car a dozen or so times and this was an absolutely awesome addition for my latest trip from Indiana to Texas. It is well-made and I love that it can be stored flattened back to a flat circle shape about the size of a dinner plate. My 13 year old cat and 8 month old kitten both loved it! It’s a great size for cats or small dogs because they are able to move around. Keep in mind that it takes up a lot of space (about 2/3 of the back seat of my CR-V) and it is just thin tent-like material, so if your pet decides to try to claw its way out that it probably will be pretty easy to destroy. Highly recommend for any log distance pet travel!!

Flimsy
We have a 6 month old crate trained pup with long legs, he isn't big, mostly legs. He like to go in and lay down in this 'tent' but the second he rolls over it is on its side or upside down with the mat being on top of him.Definitely not as study as the last one I bought

QUALITY PRODUCT AS DESCRIBED
This Sportpet Design pet carrier is a quality product well worth the price. It is sturdy, large, collapsable and well built. The outer material is made from some type of fabric but it is much stronger than i had expected.IF, and i do mean IF, a cat were able to claw through the fabric it would take them a long time to get out and it would not be easy.So it is perfect for transporting pets in a vehicle or as a temporary cage when the owner is nearby to keep an eye on the pet. Two medium sized cats could fit just fine in it for a couple of hours on a road trip without being cramped. It is a GREAT pet carrier/kennel considering the low price but don't expect a hard plastic outer shell because it is made from a durable type of fabric similar to what I have seen some camping tents made from. But it is strong enough to keep the average dog or cat confined within for a few hours easily. I am glad i purchased it.
