Works as Advertised
Use 12 hrs per day for the last few months. Heats the Hot area of my 2ft sq x 4 ft enclosure to 104f with room temp of 65f

These lamps are not hot enough for a bathroom ceiling heat lamp application. Do not buy

NOT EXPLOSION PROOF or WATER-PROOF
These inexpensive, incandescent heat lamps are suitable for use in any American house or 99.9% of businesses. The bulbs are case hardened, but do not begin to qualify as explosion-proof, and cannot be used in locations subject to flammable vapors. I doubt that they can be used under water.This paragraph is written a year later. One bulb burned out too early, but the second bulb is doing fine. This is typixal of incandesent filaments. I am reordering to be on the save side.

Heat lamps
These probably work really well. However, the title said bathroom as well, so I was buying them as a heat lamp in our bathroom. What I got, 375 watts, were essentially flood light size (huge). Didn't fit for the bathroom, but heated up fast when I plugged in to see if worked. I'll return these and go to store for something else that will fit the recessed light socket. Probably work really well for other purposes. 3 stars for misrepresenting it's use.

Very poor quality
The glass part from the two bulbs dropped down within 2 weeks. Very poor quality and wasted money.
