Q: Once wound up how long does this watch really last? how often do you have to wind it up?

Gabriel, this watch is part of a watch collection of mine so I rarely wear it twice in a row or all day. It's really not a daily wearer type of watch. But I have put it away and a couple of times wore it the next day and the time was right. My guess is if you wind it 100% fully, you get 24 hours? But, this watch is a cheap way to own a really awesome looking watch. The winding is really really no big deal unless you plan on wearing it daily, then don't get it. I can see that getting annoying.

Good question. From my experience, depending on the wind, it may take 20 to 25 turns. You can go clockwise or clockwise//counterclockwise.

Q: how would I know that this isn't a fake tissot watch?

All I can say is that mine is a genuine Tissot. If you get it and find otherwise, the Amazon A-Z guarantee should take care of you.
