3 STARS only because it is heavy duty hard plastic and its heavy all on its own. If you dont have the cargo pants to hold this bad boy than you might want to invest into some. If you are camping and fishing in area that is secluded than this is a nice way to holding your piece safely but still within reach for emergency purposes (bear, wolf, or coyote surprise)I only carry it when I go camping or fishing and I have it by my pillow case so its protected and available right away.

one form of retention not reliable

If you own a PSA Dagger, this fits it like a glove. A great holster to have with the extra layer of security to keep it from being taken.

I have a G17 airsoft pistol (my real pistol is a G22). I've been looking for a holster to use while playing and saw this. It *almost* fits. For some reason, my pistol seems to be fatter around the barrel. So, in order to get this to work I removed the screw and the spacers at the bottom, and put in a zip tie, and now I'm able to use for airsoft. It's not perfect, but now that I've made the adjustment, it works really well. I like the release button - you press it and the spring loaded cover pops forward and lets you draw your weapon. The holster is contoured to fit your hip as well and the belt loop will fit a belt strap pretty easily without having to make any adjustments. This holster does not however accommodate any accessories. Overall, it's well made, sturdy and I'm certain would work great with a real G17 pistol - if you have have the airsoft version, it'll work, you just need to "adjust" it. I'm on the lookout for a screw/nut that is longer to work for the spacing I need at the bottom.

The holster has a good, non-rattling fit on my weapon and it has that satisfying 'click' when it seats. Holds pistol incredibly well and quick release via a natural retrieval grip. Good guard on the front to prevent weapon release from being hit from the front / someone else trying to grab it. It just fits and works really, really well. Very happy with this order! Solid A+ grade!

This retention holster was easy to use/install, and includes all of the safety features one would expect for a safely operating holster. It includes a cover/hood and a hook to improve your concealment. Fits my G17 perfect and holds it securely while also releasing with an easy draw.

The holster holds my Glock snug and feels secure to wear. This is a good budget friendly option for open carry.
