The MACROS EV Pedestal Charging Station is a pedestal mounting solution that provides cord management at the charger source & connection point when needed away from walls. I bought this for use as a remote charging station post to keep things off the ground & organized in a garage/warehouse environment, preventing trip hazards from tangled charger cords. It arrived quickly & well packaged. With some fast, easy assembly using the included floor anchors, the pedestal had a small footprint & was ready for use. The MACROS EV Pedestal Charging Station has a durable, clean finish that LOOKS GREAT for an absolutely professional installation. It has a lower rear entry point for power in & multiple high frontal attachment points to securely mount a variety of chargers or in my case large cable hooks. The MACROS Pedestal Charging Station is a sturdy, practical indoor/outdoor solution for your remote charging needs.

Took about 2hrs to install not to bad for the price. Suggest caulking around the back of box

The unit I received the base plate did not line up with post had to drill and modify unit for it to work. Can’t believe a company would send this like that. No screws to mount charger. Would not recommend

UPDATE: SELLER NOTED THE ISSUE AND WILL BE UPDATING THE PRODUCT TO MATCH WITH THE TESLA CHARGERS AND ADD A HOLE THEY SAID THEY WILL SEND ME THE UPDATED VERSION TO TEST OUT! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! think I may have gotten a used one after looking at everyone else’s reviews. Mine did not come with a lower rear hole. I had to make a hole in the unit at the lower rear with my own tools. My unit also did not come with the screws needed to hold the Tesla charger to the pedestal. Tesla wall charger does come with screws but the hole on the pedestal is smaller than the screws that come with the wall charger. Which would be fine if the pedestal included some screws that fit in the pedestal itself but I did not get any. I’m thinking I may have gotten a used return that was missing hardware. I’m having to make this thing work and now off to find screws that will fit in this thing.

This is a solidly built product and I highly recommend it. My husband was very impressed with how sturdy and heavy the metal is that it is made out of. It also comes with bolts to secure it to the ground.

Easy to put together

The product seems well made and and is easy to assemble, but while the description says you may need to drill holes to install a Tesla wall charger, the reality is more complicated. The pre-drilled holes on the pedestal don't align with the backing plate for the wall charger and you can't just drill new ones. You have to tap threaded holes to accommodate the flat headed machine screws that are required to secure the backing plate to the pedestal. That's quite a bit more involved and requires precise drilling and tapping to create new threaded holes. And you'll need a specialized tap and die set.

Not the most robust stand, but ok value for the money. Cheap fittings means connections can strip out. Fairly stable. Worked OK for the than Tesla chargers
