I was so sad they discontinued selling this in stores and now the price is marked up on here!! But. Still cheaper than the salon and this is my go-to purple. It’s dark at first, like most box-colors, but fades absolutely beautifully. Will be buying more!!

LOVE this color! Such a deep purple, very beautiful. Only thing is when applying the hair dye, the chemical smell is VERY strong.

I love, love , love this color! I've tried purple/violet with other brands but I only get compliments with this brand color. I’m so glad that is back in stock.

This barely colored my hair, I have naturally dark brown hair and thought I would at least get a purple undertone but it made my hair slightly red. The scent is insanely strong and I think it also applies vary patchy although it is hard to tell since my hair is so dark.

It looks dark enough but probably cuse my light brown ish sandy bloond hair it is not dark enough like the kind i use to get perfect results from. But its close. Might try again to see if it will darken my lighter spots. But definitely better then all the other purples i tryed that make my hair more burgundy and wash out into faded red every time yo wash it. This is a good alternative to the greedy over price of most popular purple.

Looked more purple on the box then it did on my hair. Washed it twice and pretty much faded out all ready. I think i didnt not apply enough dye. Other then that smelled very good and left my hair nice and soft.

4 stars for the quality of the dye. 2 stars for the color accuracy. It just gives reddish tones to your hair. This is my 2nd time trying a violet type of color and both were fails. I just don't think boxed brands will deliver for darker hair even though it is "intended" for darker hair. I have dark brown hair which has been dyed to a lighter brown, but it just turned my hair dark brown with red tones. Looks fine, but not what I intended. There is no way the color ends up anywhere close to the color on the box even at the displayed darkest level which my hair is lighter and I have yet to see anyone post a picture showing it works. I do like Garnier in general for hair dye, but skip the "fun" colors. The conditioner is always nice and I wish they included more! And the oil packet makes it smell a bit better. It also isn't too damaging on hair. If you are looking for any hint of purple, it definitely isn't here.

I like this color and haven’t been able to find it forever in any stores. Was happy to find it here.
