The LED is easy to see during the day and very visible at night. If you what you can dim the display by turning the dial on the back. The time and (2) alarms are easy to set. Hold the time buttons for 2 seconds once the numbers starts to blink the use the up and down buttons to configure then press the time button again for the second hand. Once set press the time button to store the time. Same process for the alarm but using the alarm button. The bed vibrating pad is strong thought would have liked the cord to have been longer; I added and extension so I don’t pull the clock from my nightstand when I toss at night. The alarm is load and rises to a constant beeping until you press the snooze or alarm off button. I like that it comes with a coin battery to maintain your configuration if the power goes out. Plugged it in downstairs and proceeded to configured the time and alarm then unplugged it and moved it upstairs (roughly an hour and a half) and still maintained my settings This is a great product for the value you won’t regret it

Power would not stay connected. Not reliable.

It's nice that you can use either the vibrate function or the alarm or both but you don't have to use both. my son uses his Kindle most of the time for his alarm clock as you can set different alarm styles on there. I'm sure everybody is different just like me I have some sounds that wake me up better than others. this being one loud annoying noise isn't the best for what he needs. however the vibrate function does actually help. he throws it under his pillow and as long as you can get it in the pillow case it's a lot harder to pull the alarm clock or the wire out to where the vibrate function doesn't work. the clock is pretty basic but it is pretty clear as well so depending on what your needs are it might work well for you but again it does have very limited functions.

I ordered this for my son, who is impossible to wake up in the mornings, as I'm sure many parents can relate. I'm pretty sure he could sleep through a simultaneous earthquake and tornado. Regular alarm clocks just don't cut it for him. The stand out feature for me for this alarm clock was the included buzzer that can be placed under a pillow. The alarm itself is also pretty loud, although not quite as loud as I expected considering it is designed for people that are heard of hearing. The screen is nice and bright, but almost too bright. It can be adjusted easily, but the lowest setting turns the display off completely, and the second lowest is still pretty bright. it would be nice if it had an auto dimming feature. Setup was easy and straightforward, so no issues there. Overall, this is a nice alarm clock, with some unique features. Now I just need to figure out a way to prevent my son from hitting the snooze button!

This alarm clock was easy to set up and use, and yes, it is very loud. The vibration feature is cool as well.

Pop tart used for size comparison. The display is bright, has brightness settings also, which is nice. The instructions were a little tough, and they are not really intuitive when setting an alarm, or two alarms, or actually... I don't know if I even set an alarm. That's how I felt after attempting to set my first alarm. The "shaker" is OK. It's more of a vibration that will certainly get your attention, unless you're my middle son, and it just puts him into a deeper sleep I think. If you are wanting the "sonic boom" type of product, this isn't it. It's not a bed shaker. Really, everything is as expected, but boy oh boy, I wish the cords/cables were longer. I'm not sure if a 3 foot cord from the alarm clock to the "shaker" is enough. My son has to have his alarm at least at the foot of his bed, so he can't autonomously hit the Snooze... can't be within arm's reach. But this short cable makes it impossible to even get the shaker to his bed from his standard alarm location. If it was a 6 foot cable, I'd like that much more.
