Fun and cute!

Wasn't perfect, but I take issue with the negative reviews. The pieces were uniform and clicked together well. The balance was a bit off, so my upper platform fell off 5 times, but it was fixable! Also the bags are not organized, you either have to do it yourself or sift through 3600 peices. Took about 2 weeks to complete (I was a bit obsessed). Also why do none of these companies list the excess pieces? It would make things so much easier!

Fun to put together

I enjoyed this kit. Nicely packaged and complete. Very pretty when done. Went together well. Diagrams and the pieces you need are listed for each step. I did end up reconfiguring the stairway and gluing it to make it work better. I would buy again.

Not for the faint hearted!

I don't believe this! I had just finished writing a very thorough review of this product & just at the last second it froze & I was unable to retrieve it. I'm just sick about this!!! :-(((Don't know if I can duplicate what I wrote... & what I wrote was hopefully helpful! Oh welllll.....I'll try again!Welll here goes:This is also probably not for those who get frustrated easily & maybe need to throw things! But if someone wants to work on increasing one's patience, then go for it!I have discovered that there are different scales of of these "lego" mini-block sets. This one is probably the smallest. I'm not sure if or how that is designated in the descriptions. I think I recall seeing something about "micro-mini"; is that different from "mini"? I hadn't noticed that before.Anyway, my son & I have worked on this; he is very proficient as he has a LOT of Lego builds 'under his belt'. I'm newer at it, but am also fairly good with small, intricate details due to my other crafts. For the most part the bricks fit together snugly; however there are several areas where they are built outward with only one or two point of connections. These are thus pretty fragile. We had the main base all finished & had started the upper base, which was attached to & then built up to the upper base. However the connecting parts were pretty flimsy. This incorporated 2 somewhat flimsy water falls at each end with a TINY 1/4" (yes, that is ONE FOURTH INCH) connection at the bottom of the pedestal. See the pictures above. The first shows the waterfalls & the second shows a close up of that small connection point. The 3rd shows the 1/4" light grey connecting block of the upper base. It's a good idea to use some plastic model glue here to hopefully make it a little more secure. We had not done this.We had the conical upper base completed ro the point show above, but when adding some more outward-extending pieces & trying to secure them, the 2 fragile waterfall crumpled somewhat. I tried to re-do them but it just made it worse, so we dismantled them back to where things were correct & rebuilt them.At that point we agreed that due to the multiple complex & intricate details on the upper part, which would be very tricky to get placed & maintain stability & integrity of the whole thing, we decided to build that part separately & THEN connect it when finished, & use plenty of glue. (We also considered making a larger base using parts from another similarly sized model.)The dimensions of that upper base is 3 inches tall & 6 1/2 inches across. That's quite a bit to try & secure to such a tiny base, along with 2 very fragile waterfalls!I knocked off the one star for questionable stability while building, & that it is a very challenging build; not for everyone. But we still really like it!So I think I re-captured most of what I said before!I'm going to Submit this NOW before I lose it again, & then I'll re-read it tomorrow & make any corrections.Sorry that it got kinda long!Update 1/12/24:It is slowly coming along. But again, & I re-iterate, this is extremely tricky to manipulate & put together, due to those very tiny pieces. I find tweezers are a must, & it is very helpful to have a lighted magnifiying lamp. It does help relieve the eyestrain& makes it so much easier to get the pieces together. We are now towards the end where all the folliage is put together: another extreme challenge, keeping all pieces in place while adding other pieces! There are so many flowers & trees that is seems impossible to join them securely without crashing the whole darn thing if you try to do it with the upper & lower sections joined first.Again, I do not possibly see how one can successfully & sanely assemble this by building it up all in one piece from that 1/4 in. pedestal connection. Absolutely impossible! It seems to me that is MUST be done is 2 steps: put together the lower portion & the upper portion seperately & THEN very carefully join them...with lots of glue!As an additional suggestion, I would recommend starting with MINI-blocks before tackling MICRO-blocks!I hadn't realized there was a difference until we received another set which was the MINI-blocks...much easier to handle! Then tackle a micro-set if you want...but also maybe one that is a more solid ietm!Good luck! & Blessings!

Nice fun family project

We do these types of items during storms or in the winter. Easy to use. Seems like quality bricks. Colors are nice. Would make a nice gift. Cheaper then the name brand and I. This economy if your struggling for a fun family activity this would be it!

Pros and Cons

It was really pretty to put together but all of the pieces were just shoved into bags without rhyme or reason. It was also very unstable. You have to be very careful once you put the waterfall and land up. Use a bit too much force and everything comes apart. However, the pieces are durable and it’s really not a bad set.

Cute, but annoying

Appearance: 4/5Quality: 2/5Worth the Sale Price ($15): 3/5Worth Original Price ($30-$35): 1.5/5I’m pretty disappointed in this set. It was originally around $35 and I got it on sale for around $15. This is not a $35 set. This is a $20 set a most, and I’m being generous. This set incredibly small, 6.5 inches — this is compared to other sets that I’ve gotten for twice the highest and size for around $35. On top of that the quality of pieces are not great. They’re loose and don’t click together well. The slightest burst and a small piece next to it will fall off. On top of all that, not only was I missing pieces i got broken ones. Every couple of steps I had a missing piece. I had to use left over pieces from previous sets.Overall I’m just not happy with the quality of the set.

Missing pieces.

I liked putting it together until about half the way through when I went to go for certain pieces and they weren't there. Problem is that I am half the way through and only way to get my money back or get another set is if I return it. That kinda makes me mad because of all the work that I already did. So it is a conundrum.

Teen loves this!

Got this for my 13 ye old. She loves it! Took her a couple weeks to put together and then she took it apart and is putting it together again. Beautiful when it's finishes!
