The unit is a little bulkier than I expected when assembled because the bars have slightly wider bases which clip onto the rails. It might be better if the rails attached to the trays instead. The rails are also a little longer than necessary, so about a centimetre of plastic sticks out of the side. I'm going to try cut it off but I'm not sure how with its awkward shape.Functionally, though, it works as expected. The mechanism slides smoothly and it fits standard cans perfectly. Assembly was obvious and easy. I could see someone older or with arthritis or something like that struggling to get the trays to sit correctly on the rails as they don't just slide in, they need to clip over the rail which is a tiny bit awkward but once on, they hold well.
