Bubble size
Bought as a replacement for faded units, would have preferred the bubble to be larger so that it reaches to the lines.

A perfect fit
On my old spirit level, I couldn't see the bubble in one vial, it had dried out or gone opaque, the other two still worked but the liquid had turned clear so the bubble wasn't easy to see. I measured the vials carefully with calipers and ordered these. Result, one working spirit level (calibrated with the aid of a second).

Small bubble.
Good value. Fitted my spirit level - original components had clouded making it useless. Would be easier to use if bubbles were larger, but this is a minor niggle given that a like-for-like replacement of the level would have cost c. £50.

They are slightly longer than 40mm.I had to grind the openings to accept the longer length.

Perfect Size for my Level
I have been looking for a replacement vial for my level. I know I could have thrown away my level, but why since the replacement vial was so cheap. I have installed it and they were the perfect size.
