Perfectly replaced the rotting rollers in a friend's scanner

When my old rollers went to mush "picture attached" these new ones were exactly what I needed. Took about 30 minutes to replace with a youtube video.

Had no issues finally getting the scanner taken apart, despite so many screws. However, after assembling the rollers, one of the smaller metal rollers was missing a critical component that would snap onto the plastic casing, so would not come loose. Not sure how this was overlooked at China manufacturing, but the original Japanese component had this, as evidenced in the different photo images. The installed new piece shows, with a straw pointing to where this roller will just lop around if the cover is opened, which unacceptable. The original piece as shown in one of the images is not removable to place onto the new piece. The only piece that is transferable is the copper looking piece.
