This is great at holding an onion in place so you can slice it easily with an average sized knife and quickly and price is reasonable. You don't have to worry about cutting your finger when slicing an onion. This is an essential kitchen gadget.

Works well and does as stated. I've tried it with an onion (had to try that out). It worked and made that job much easier. Easy to use and clean.
