This is decent quality wood and well made, should last for years so good value. The handle is a comfortable shape for me but any competent woodworker could customise it a little to suit them.

Very good! It's got a nice weight to it and I've seen them 3 times this price and they are no better! Well worth it!

The weight and size of this wooden mallet are ideal for my small/average size hands. The appearance of the hickory wood is beautiful and I clean it up with a bit of wood cleaner and a cloth. It just looks and feels right. I was disappointed to get the mallet out today and find the handle has shrunk in diameter and came out of the head both ways and was too narrow to set in the mallet head. I finally got it to set as shown in the picture but the mallet head sits way too high on the handle and I fear this could become dangerous as it is almost coming off the handle. I am going to try and soak the handle in water for 24 hours and perhaps add some wax afterwards to keep some of the moisture in and see if this increases the diameter a bit. I am disappointed though. I would ask for a replacement straight away but it seems a shame to waste such a beautiful looking tool so I will persevere with trying a fix first and if it is still not sound I will need it replacing which is inconvenient.

Ligera, práctica eficaz, bien construida, buena calidad

Bon maillet, résistant et léger, par contre il faut protéger le bois pour éviter les traces de moisissures dans un atelier humide.

Bonne qualité mais un peut léger au niveau du poids.
