The media could not be loaded. I absolutely LOVE this thing as much as I HATE it! Someone else mentioned that once see everything that this blacklight reveals, you'll probably wish you'd never bought and it's so true! I bought this because I have a cat that started spraying and I wanted to be able to find all his spots and clean them thoroughly. But there's so much more that shows up under a blacklight! The picture in the bathtub is where he peed, and it shines super bright! But the hardwater and soap stains also show, as does the condensation that rolls down the walls, and ALL the tiny little purple specks are actually DUST! The picture of the sink is a clean sink! The bathtub rim shows hardwater and caulk, and a pee paw print! And the other two are my upper bathroom wall and the shower tile! It really shows it all and now I have to figure how to clean it better!But I'm very pleased with this device! I looked at a bunch before deciding. I went with this one because of the higher nm range, which really lights things up! It's very sturdy and seems well made! It's comfortable to hold. I love that its rechargable and when fully charged lasts a long time. You can also use it as a power bank tho I haven't tried that yet. And it even comes with a battery pack holder for 3 AAA batteries which could come in handy if you need it right now but forgot to charge it. It comes with a cord to charge it (but no actual charger) and a nice sturdy, padded case that holds everything it comes with. It doesn't have all the bells & whistles like some of the others I looked at, like regular flashlight or strobe, zoom, other color lights or both blacklight nm ranges, but if what you're looking for is a good handheld blacklight, I highly recommend this one! It is a little pricy for what it is which is its only con in my opinion but if it lasts a long time I guess it'll be worth it!

Received the light today so I haven't made good use of it yet. However I did break down light to review the physical build aspect. I am a product engineer and have reviewed thousands of products and tend to be critical since a product should be nearly perfect when a company releases it.Flashlight Build:Flashlight has a solid build, solid feel and a nice clean smooth finish. The design is very modular so you can easily break down the parts and clean or repair. All parts fit perfectly together. No issues unscrewing and screwing all pieces. There is no lubricate so metal threads do slightly bind, but casing is aluminum so any binding is only slight. There is an o-ring washer on 3 of the 4 threaded sections. Not sure if missing o-ring is intentional. O-ring is missing between the beam reflector section and the control section (part with button). I did not break down the control section so not sure if there is a rubber guard around the push button switch. The button is rubbery in texture and it shows blue when battery is good and red when charging. There is a brass accent ring around the button which is a nice touch. Also there is a purple anodized ring at the head of the flashlight which is also very nice. Flashlight feels good in your hand - metal is smooth but metal is cut or gnarled for good gripping. On the flashlight case there is a rubber cover that snugly protects the two charging ports. Also on the flashlight case is a hole where the lanyard is installed. Lanyard is decent quality. Also the filter lens is glass - very nice.Accessories:Also included are decent instructions and an AAA battery adapter in case the battery is low. The battery is a Li-ion 26650 - 3000mAh - about the thickness of a C cell but taller.Flashlight and accessories all shipped in a decent case that has 4 snap clips. Case plastic is thin but sufficient. The case has eggshell-like foam inserts so flashlight is well cushioned. The case also has its own carrying lanyard which is a nice touch. The case eyelets and lanyard appear to be strong enough to carry case with flashlight confidently, but I would not run with it. Also included is a Type C USB cable.Operation:The battery charger is built inside the control section of flashlight. Took maybe 3 hours to fully charge battery. Flashlight button lights red when charging and blue when fully charged. The button is solid with clear on and off action. Lastly the UV beam is strong - no issues across a 20 foot room.Summary:I rarely find any design that is 100% clean and well thought out. What you are buying is a well built flashlight with quality components in a case with instructions, AAA adapter, and lanyards. I have not been able to use it much today, but I am hoping the electronics are durable and this light last as long as one takes good care of it. The only flashlight area of concern is that my flashlight does not have an o-ring in one of the sections. Also I would use thicker o-rings for better durability and water protection. This improvement cost would be negligible.

UPDATED: This light works great! After the first one was returned, got a replacement sent out and it works flawlessly. Insanely bright and has revealed more things about the condition of the house I'm renting than I'd honestly have cared to know - those clean looking walls are not as clean as they seem, almost looks like it was decorated for a horror house. Does what I got it for though, which is inspecting for cat urine since I have a kitten who is bouncing all over the place. I'll probably end up buying another one if I ever needed to.FIRST REVIEW: Well, I'd like to write a review on the effectiveness of this light, but upon plugging it in to charge for the first time there was no light indicating it was charging, and the magic smoke was coming out of the USB ports. Tossed it on a Portapow, the circuits were drawing 0.12A the second it's plugged in, battery or not. Noticed there were some metal shards sticking up through the PCB upon closer inspection, so wouldn't be surprised if there was some debris from the manufacturing process causing the short. Unfortunately I don't have a tool suitable for popping open these assemblies, so I don't have a way to pinpoint the exact issue. Either way, considering this one DOA and requesting a replacement.

Comes in a good protective, padded case. Can be used with batteries or USB charging. Good intensity.

Flashlight exceeded my expectations in terms of range and brightness. A really good value at less than $35. Detects security strip on paper money, makes Yooperlites glow as if they have an internal light source. The light compares favorably and outperforms UV flashlights costing 3-4X as much. Carrying case is great to have. The only negative comment is, I wish it had a zoom function. Beautiful product that performs well.

OMG…this thing is so effective you will be grossed out by your house…or mine as it may be. But really, this thing should be on an episode of CSI, it picks up so much! High quality, Love that u can charge it or use regular batteries. Best purchase in a long time
