I used to laugh at gadgets like these, but this one really surprised me. It removes old mastic really easily even with my old hands and it retains its edge over now three bathrooms I’ve helped family to decorate. Being made of stainless steel, it’s extremely robust and with the different smoothing heads, makes getting a neat bead, taking away excess making it really functional if you hate, as I do, getting mastic on your hands. It’s robust and extremely intuitive to use and the price is very competitive. I use mine to help friends and family after I removed the cheap mastic the contractor used in my bathroom that kept moulding. Highly recommended!

Have only used it once for removing old sealant (since purchase) but found the functions quite useful. Smoothing tool has 9 different heads which means good choice of spread and the results look very good when applying the new sealant. The scraper is ok in removing excess old sealant but I also used a filling knife to assist. The hook got through the old sealant quite easily to allow purchase to start the removal process. The gouger took a little time to work out the best angle and did a reasonable job, but couldn’t lift all of the old sealant continuously, although to be fair the old sealant was 32 years old and was quite thin between skirting board and floor. Overall I was pretty pleased with this 4 in 1 device and will definitely use for my next project.

Makes removing silicone a breeze. So much better than using a stripping/filling knife. Makes a neat and tidy job of freshky applied silicone/sealant too.

The material it's made of is high-quality. But it didn't do any good. The rubber bands on the attachment keep slipping off. The metal is dull and won't fix the problem or clean the old silicone. I had to cut it off with a knife and cover it with a popsicle stick.
