I decided to go with this bulk package of razors since they’re triple blade, and can give a better shave than cheaper twin blade versions. The razors are individually wrapped in clear plastic, but I decided to open them to make them easier to distribute. This allowed me to find three broken razors out of the 40 that I needed for my last homeless ministry trip. Thankfully, there was only one that was broken beyond repair. The others just needed some reattachment of the blade cartridge to the handle.I was worried that the plastic material was too fragile, but I’ve been using one of these for about two months, and it’s still holding up. Maybe inside a backpack with heavy items, it can snap more easily. For context, I’ve been keeping it in my toiletry bag in my bathroom, so it does get buried under toothpaste and shaving cream. I also shave every other day.The lubricating strip on the cartridge came off after two uses, and the plastic blade cover is really hard to get back on, so I gave up on that. However, the blades are still sharp enough to leave me cuts sometimes. I haven’t had any problems cleaning the blades. Running water through them seems to work fine. I wouldn’t be surprised if this razor can last into the new year.For the homeless though, I just wish the plastic was stronger. If someone is on the move a lot, there are more chances for the parts to break. Keeping the razor in a protective case of some sort would help, and maybe there are affordable bulk solutions out there.

These are poor quality. The handles are very short and only good for people with small hands. Most importantly, the stainless steel blades are dull right out of the wrapper. You can find better quality disposables in your local dollar store.
